The present invention relates to a plasma display panel, and more particularly, to a plasma display panel capable of preventing the dropping of the connection portion of the electrode.
Recently, a plasma display panel (PDP), which is drawing attention as a replacement for a conventional cathode ray tube display device, is discharged after a discharge gas is filled between two substrates on which a plurality of electrodes are formed. The phosphor formed in a predetermined pattern is excited by the ultraviolet rays generated thereby to obtain a desired image.
A plurality of electrodes of the plasma display panel cause an address discharge and a sustain discharge. Each of the electrodes is electrically connected to a circuit board for driving the plasma display panel by signal transmission means.
Each of the electrodes includes a pattern part located at the center of the display panel, a terminal part connected to the signal transmission means, and a connection part connecting the pattern part and the terminal part. In general, the pattern part is discharged by coupling a transparent electrode. To help and increase the transmittance.
By the way, the electrode parts of the conventional plasma display panel tended to be thinner overall in order to reduce costs, and in particular, the connecting parts of the electrodes are gradually narrowed toward the terminal part to connect the pattern part of the electrode to the terminal part. Since the paper has a layout configuration, the width of the paper is often designed to prevent short circuits. Therefore, the connection portion of the electrodes of the conventional plasma display panel having the above-described configuration has a small adhesion force to the substrate, often falling off the substrate occurs.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made to solve the conventional problems as described above, and a main object of the present invention is to provide a plasma display panel which prevents a dropping phenomenon of a connection portion of an electrode.
In order to achieve the above and other objects, the present invention, a pair of substrates spaced apart at a predetermined interval and facing each other, disposed between the pair of substrates and the pair of substrates A partition wall defining a discharge cell together with a pattern part formed to correspond to the discharge cell and a terminal part connected to the signal transmission means, and a connection part connecting the pattern part and the terminal part and having a thickness greater than the thickness of the pattern part. 1 is a schematic exploded perspective view of a central portion of a plasma display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention, Figure 2 is a schematic view of the electrodes disposed on the edge portion of the first substrate of the plasma display panel according to an embodiment of the present invention 3 is a schematic sectional view of an electrode according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The pair of
In the present embodiment, since the
The
The
In this embodiment, the cross section of the
Meanwhile, the
Although the
Although all of the
Here, the
The
Although the
On the other hand, the
The
Here, the thickness t 2 of the
Here, the
On the other hand, the signal transmission means 160 is electrically connected to a driving circuit board (not shown) for driving the

Meanwhile, a first
The
On the other hand, blue, green, and red phosphors are coated on both top surfaces of the
The
Each of the phosphor layers 140 has a function of emitting visible light by receiving ultraviolet rays, and a blue phosphor layer is formed by coating a phosphor of BaMgAl 10 O 17 : Eu material and a green phosphor layer of Zn 2 SiO 4 : Phosphors such as Mn are applied and formed, and a red phosphor layer is formed by applying phosphors such as Y (V, P) O 4 : Eu.
After the
