- 극성을 갖는 활물질층이 도포된 제 1 및 제 2 극판과 이들 두 극판 사이에 개재된 세퍼레이터를 권취하는 맨드릴을 구비하는 원통형 전지의 극판 권취장치에 있어서,상기 맨드릴은 횡단면이 원형이되 삽지홈에 의해 두 부분으로 나뉘어지며, 나뉘어진 두 부분 중 적어도 한 부분의 외측면에 적어도 하나의 평탄부가 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 평탄부는 상기 제 1 또는 제 2 극판에 결합된 전극탭이 놓여지는 위치에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 평탄부는 횡방향에서 볼 때 직사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 평탄부의 폭은 상기 전극탭의 폭보다 크거나 같은 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 평탄부가 형성된 부분에 상기 맨드릴의 타부분의 곡률과 같은 곡률을 갖는 외면을 가정할 때, 상기 평탄부에 놓여진 상기 전극탭의 두께부가 상기 가상의 외면에 접하도록 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 평탄부의 길이는 상기 전극탭이 상기 극판에 겹쳐지는 부분의 길이보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 삽지홈은 상기 맨드릴의 중심부에 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 맨드릴의 두 부분은 상기 삽지홈을 중심으로 소정의 간격을 두고 정합을 이루도록 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항 중 어느 한 항의 극판 권취장치에 의해 극판을 권취하되, 상기 극판 권취장치의 맨드릴에 형성된 평탄부에 상기 제 1 또는 제 2 극판에 결합된 전극탭이 놓여지도록 극판을 권취하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 극판 권취방법.
