Claims (3)
- 디지털 멀티미디어 방송(DMB) 시스템에서 위성으로부터 수신한 신호를 DMB 단말로 중계하기 위한 갭필러로서,상기 위성으로부터 송출되는 신호를 수신하여 낮은 대역의 주파수로 변환하고 잡음을 제거하며, 주파수를 증폭하기 위한 저잡음 변환부;상기 저잡음 변환부의 출력 신호를 기저 대역 신호로 변환하기 위한 튜너;상기 튜너로부터 출력된 신호를 복조하고 오류를 정정하며 디코딩, 디인터리밍 및 디스크램블링하기 위한 TDM 복조부;상기 TDM 복조부에서 복조된 신호를 CDM 변조하기 위한 CDM 변조부;상기 CDM 변조부의 출력 신호를 주파수 상향 변환하기 위한 RF 변조부;상기 RF 변조부의 출력 신호를 증폭하여 송출하기 위한 대전력 증폭부; 및상기 대전력 증폭부의 출력 신호를 편파하되, 상기 위성의 편파 방식과 독립적인 편파 방식으로 편파하는 편파부;를 포함하는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송 시스템을 위한 갭필러.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 갭필러는 갭필러 커버리지 영역과 위성 커버리지 영역의 경계 지역을 서비스하는 갭필러인 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송 시스템을 위한 갭필러.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 위성은 방송 신호를 우회전 원형 편파하여 송출하고, 상기 갭필러는 좌회전 원형 편파하여 송출하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송 시스템을 위한 갭필러.
