Claims (7)
- 이격되어 대향하는 상부 및 하부 기판;상기 상부 및 하부 기판 사이에 개재되며, 유전율 이방성이 음인 수개의 액정 분자를 포함하는 액정층;상기 하부 기판의 상부에 형성되며, 프린지 필드를 형성하여 액정 분자를 대부분 동작시킬수 있도록 다수의 빗살을 포함하는 카운터 전극과 화소 전극;상기 하부 기판 외측면에 배치되며 편광축을 갖는 편광자;상기 상부 기판 외측면에 배치되며, 상기 편광자의 편광축과 직교하는 흡수축을 갖는 분해자;상기 상부 기판과 분해자 사이에 개재되는 위상 보상판; 및상기 하부 기판 내측면 표면 또는 상부 기판 내측면 표면에 다수개가 등간격으로 배치되고, 상기 카운터 전극 및 화소 전극의 빗살 방향과 10°∼ 90°의 각도를 이루도록 연장되며, 적어도 하나 이상의 경사면을 갖는 배향 구조물을 포함하며,상기 하부 기판 및 상부 기판 내측 결과물 표면은 수직 배향 처리가 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 구동 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 배향 구조물은 절연물로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 구동 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 배향 구조물은 삼각뿔 라인 형태로 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 구동 액정 표시 장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 위상 보상판은 상기 액정층의 위상 지연값의 절대값과 동일하고, 그 위상은 반대인 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 구동 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 액정층의 위상 지연값은 0.4 내지 0.5㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 구동 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 상부 기판 내측면에 공통 전극이 추가로 배치되는 것을 특징으로 프린지 필드 구동 액정 표시 장치.
