Claims (8)
- 직렬 연결된 발광셀들의 어레이를 갖는 발광 다이오드 칩; 및상기 발광셀들 사이의 노드들에 각각 연결된 스위칭 블록들을 포함하되,상기 어레이가 교류 전압 전원에 연결되어 구동될 때, 상기 스위칭 블록들에 의해 상기 발광셀들이 순차적으로 턴온 및 턴오프되는 발광 소자.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 스위칭 블록들은 상기 어레이의 소오스 단자 및 그라운드 단자에 연결되되,제n 스위칭 블록은 상기 소오스 단자와 그라운드 단자의 전압차(Vac)가 소정전압×n 내지 소정전압×(n+1) 범위에 있을 때, 상기 제n 스위칭 블록이 연결된 노드와 상기 그라운드 단자를 단락시키고, 상기 전압차(Vac)가 상기 소정 전압×(n+1) 이상인 경우, 상기 각 노드와 상기 그라운드 단자를 개방시키는 발광소자.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 소정 전압은 기준 전류에서의 상기 발광셀의 순방향 전압인 발광소자.
- 청구항 3에 있어서,상기 기준 전류값은 15 내지 25mA인 것을 특징으로 하는 발광소자.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 발광셀들은 턴온된 순서의 역순으로 턴오프되는 발광소자.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 발광셀들 각각은 N형반도체층, P형 반도체층 및 상기 N형 및 P형 반도체층들 사이에 개재된 활성층을 포함하는 발광소자.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 직렬 연결된 발광셀들의 어레이에 역병렬로 연결된 다른 직렬 연결된 발광셀셀들의 어레이를 더 포함하는 발광소자.
- 청구항 7에 있어서,상기 다른 직렬 연결된 발광셀들의 어레이 내의 발광셀들 사이의 노드들은 각각 상기 스위칭 블록들에 연결된 발광소자.
