본 발명에서 사용되는 침상모의 끝 점 후도는 0.01-0.03mm 범위이며, 이 범위 내의 다양한 끝 점 후도를 가진 모가 혼합 사용되는 것이 더욱 바람직하다. 본 발명에서 사용되는 침상모의 테이퍼 길이는 5-12mm 의 범위이며, 역시 이 범위의 테이퍼 길이를 가진 다양한 모가 혼합되어 사용되는 것이 적절하다. 그 이유는 다 양한 끝 점과 테이퍼 길이를 가진 모가 혼합사용되면 적절한 침투력과 세척력을 발휘할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 칫솔의 수명이 연장되기 때문이다. 끝 점 후도가 상기 범위 미만의 경우에는 세척력이 저하하게 되며, 상기 범위를 초과하는 경우에는 경성이 증가하여 양치시 잇몸을 손상시킬 우려가 있다. 테이퍼 길이가 상기 범위 미만의 경우에는 경성이 지나치게 증가하게 되며, 상기 범위를 초과하는 경우에는 세척력이 저하된다.The end point thickness of the needle-shaped hair used in the present invention is in the range of 0.01-0.03 mm, and it is more preferable that a hair having various end point thicknesses within this range is mixed and used. 본 발명에서는 칫솔대에 타원형의 홀을 형성함으로써 상기한 바와 같은 선행기술 2의 문제점을 완전히 해결하였다. 선행기술 2에서 모의 길이가 불균일하게 식모되는 이유는 홀의 크기가 종래기술에 비하여 큰 것도 있지만 그 보다는 홀의 형상이 사각형이라는 것을 반복 실험에 의하여 밝혀내게 되었으며, 선행기술 2와 같은 크기의 홀을 형성하더라도 홀의 형상을 타원형 또는 타원형과 유사한 형태로 하게 되면 불균일 식모의 문제점이 해결될 수 있다. 타원형과 유사한 형태라 함은 도5와 같이 전체적으로 직사각형 형태이지만 모서리 부분이 라운드됨으로써 각이 없어진 형태의 것을 의미한다. 이와 같은 공정을 거쳐 얻어지는 본 발명의 칫솔의 도6과 같다.In the present invention, the problem of the prior art 2 as described above is completely solved by forming an elliptical hole in the toothbrush bar.
