The present invention relates to a sheath current suppression apparatus for underground transmission lines, and more particularly, to suppress power loss by suppressing the sheath current in normal times, and to protect the suppression apparatus in the event of a lightning strike or ground fault. The present invention relates to a sheath current suppression device for underground cables, which can smoothly flow to prevent an electric power accident from occurring.
In general, the transmission system of the power system is in the form of overhead lines in the outskirts of the city or in the rural areas, and in the center of a large city or a new city, power is supplied through a cable buried underground. In addition, such a transmission line is grounded to the ground through the sheath line at regular intervals for safety, and in the case of underground transmission lines, the sheath line is collectively placed at every cable connection section to prevent the potential of the sheath line from rising due to a system accident. It is operated by batch grounding method. Therefore, in this batch grounding system, when a current flows through a transmission line, a voltage is induced to a metal sheath provided at the periphery of the transmission line, and flows to the ground through the sheath line.
However, when current flows through the sheath line, unnecessary loss power is generated in the transmission line, and this loss power becomes more severe when the load of each phase is unbalanced, thus preventing stable power transmission. There are various problems such as raising the temperature causing deterioration of the transmission line. In addition, in spite of such a loss power, since the load on the meter (hook on Am-meter) appears as the sum of the load current and the circulating current, there is also a problem that the loss of the transmission line due to the circulating current is not accurately identified.
Therefore, in recent years, the reactor winding the coil core many times around the core core is connected to the sheath line, so that circulating current is not normally generated in the sheath line, thereby stably supplying power, and generating an abnormal voltage such as a ground fault. In the city, a sheath current suppression device has been developed in which the occurrence of an abnormal voltage in a transmission line can be suppressed by limiting an increase in the potential of the sheath line and disclosed in detail in Korean Patent 2001-53832.
However, such a sheath current suppressor may cause a larger power accident as the suppressor is damaged by an overcurrent when a ground fault occurs, and thus an accident current does not flow. There is a problem such that it is destroyed to cause an electric accident. In addition, there is a problem that the size and weight of the suppressor is excessively large so as to be able to withstand the transient current to some extent, it is difficult to use it in an actual power system.
The present invention was created to solve the above problems, and the object of the present invention is to compactly reduce the cost and easy installation, while the suppression device is protected even in the event of ground fault or lightning strike, and the accident current to earth By providing a smooth flow, it is to provide a sheath current suppression apparatus for underground cables that can prevent the occurrence of power accidents.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. In addition, this embodiment does not limit the scope of the present invention, but is presented by way of example only and the same parts as in the conventional configuration using the same reference numerals and names.
1 is a block diagram of a sheath current suppression apparatus according to the present invention. As shown, the sheath current suppressing device is connected to a sheath line of a transmission line (not shown) for the
The
The fuse 4 is connected in series with the input terminal 1 of the
The
The

The sheath current suppressor is connected to the
In addition, if an accident current exceeding the capacity of the
At this time, the accident current penetrated into the sheath line flows smoothly to the ground through the arrester (2) connected in parallel to the reactor (7) to prevent the power accident occurs in the transmission line.
Therefore, since the sheath current suppressing device does not flow overcurrent into the
In the present invention as described above, even if an overcurrent exceeding the capacity of the reactor is induced in the sheath line, the fuse connected in series to the input side is disconnected to prevent breakage of the suppressor due to the overcurrent, and the intruded overcurrent is connected in parallel with the reactor. Since it flows smoothly through the arrester to the ground, it is possible to prevent the power accident to occur in the transmission line.
