Claims (6)
- 인쇄될 표면을 향해 잉크 방울을 분사하도록 장착된 다수의 노즐(Nozzle)을 포함하고;상기 노즐은 외부 액츄에이터(Actuator)와 천공된 정상부(Apertured Roof Portion)를 구비하며; 상기 정상부는 잉크와 접촉하는 내부 표면과 상기 외부 액츄에이터와 작동 가능하게 연결된 대향하는 외부 표면을 형성하고, 상기 액츄에이터가 잉크를 분사하기 위해 인쇄될 표면으로부터 상기 정상부를 멀어지게 이동시키도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린트헤드(Ink Jet Printhead).
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 각각의 노즐은, 하부의 기판(Underlying Substrate)에서 적어도 하나의 도관(Conduit)을 경유하여 잉크가 공급되도록 장착된 그와 관련된 노즐챔버(Nozzle Chamber)를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린트헤드.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 정상부는, 상기 노즐챔버를 형성하기 위해 대향하는 바닥부(Floor Portion)로부터 연장되는 주변의 측벽과 신축식(Telescopic)으로 맞물리도록 그 둘레로부터 늘어져 있는 측벽을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린트헤드.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 액츄에이터는, 인접단(Proximal End)에서 상기 기판 위에 캔틸레버식 빔(Cantilever Beam)으로서 장착되며, 말단(Distal End)에서 상기 노즐챔버의 정상부를 지지하도록 배열되어, 사용시 상기 노즐의 작동으로 상기 바닥부 쪽으로 이동함으로써 상기 천공된 정상부를 통해 잉크를 분사시키는 벤드액츄에이터(Bend Actuator)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린트헤드.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 하부의 기판에 있는 도관은, 상기 바닥부에 있는 개구부(Opening)를 통해 상기 노즐챔버와 연결되고, 상기 개구부는 그 개구부를 통과하는 잉크의 흐름을 크게 방해하지 않을 만큼 충분히 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린트헤드.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 노즐챔버에 있는 잉크는, 사용시 주로 상기 도관의 벽에 대한 점성력(Viscous Drag)에 의해 상기 도관을 통해 상기 정상부의 하방 쪽으로 역류하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 잉크젯 프린트헤드.
