Abstract

The liquid crystal display (LCD) generates a contrast by injecting a liquid crystal material, which is an intermediate between solid and liquid, between two thin glass plates that have been specially treated and changing the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules by a voltage difference between electrodes on the upper and lower glass plates.
