Abstract
PURPOSE: Permeable blocks for the filling of soft ground are provided to reduce the cost and prevent environmental pollution, through recycling of industrial waste, remove the need for pumping work, and prevent partial differential settlement and occurrence of a crack and unevenness. CONSTITUTION: Permeable blocks(20) for the filling are built on the soft ground in steps. The block is formed through mixture of waste tire rubber chips of 60¯70 percent crushed in the size of 2¯40 mm, cement of 18¯20 percent, bottom-ashes of 11¯18 percent, and admixture of 1¯2 percent. Prominent parts(21) and depressed parts(22) corresponding mutually are each formed on the sides of the upper and lower parts of the block.
