Abstract

PURPOSE: A body valve of a shock absorber is provided to improve ride comfort by absorbing shock and vibration transmitted to vehicle body and to stabilize damping force by forming a rebound passage and a compression passage formed to the body valve differently. CONSTITUTION: A storage chamber is formed between an outer tube and an inner tube and a piston is installed to the inner tube. A washer(2) is elastically installed to the upper part of a first body valve(1a) installed to the lower part of the piston, and a disk(3) and a retainer(4) are installed to the lower part of the washer(2). A compression passage(5) is formed to the outside of the first body valve(1a) and a first rebound passage(6a) is formed to the inside of the compression passage(5). A second body valve(1b) provided with a second rebound passage(6b) is installed to the lower side of the first body valve(1a). The first rebound passage(6a) and the second rebound passage(6b) are interconnected.
