Description
Claims (8)
- 압축된 비디오 출력 데이타를 제공하는 방법에 있어서,(a) 비디오 입력 데이타를 제공하는 단계(57)와,(b) 상기 비디오 입력 데이타를 입력 픽셀 블록을 나타내는 이미지로 변환하는 단계(57)와,(c) 하나의 입력 픽셀 블록에 대해, 상기 입력 픽셀 블록과 예측된 블록사이의 상관도를 나타내기 위하여 서로 다른 예측 기능에 의해 각각 작성되고, 상관 인덱스로부터 저주파수로 변화하는 상관 성분의 척도를 삭제함으로써 얻어지는 관련 상관 계수를 각각 갖는 복수개의 예측 픽셀 블록을 형성하는 단계(60, 32)와,(d) 상기 예측된 블록 상관 계수를 상호 비교하는 단계(97)와,(e) 각각의 예측된 블록 상관 계수의 상기 상호 비교에 기초하여 상기 예측된 블록 중 하나를 선택하는 단계(97)와,(f) 상기 선택된 예측 블록을 압축하여 출력 블록을 제공하는 단계(70)와,(g) 다른 픽셀 블록에 대해 단계 (c)-(f)를 반복하는 단계와,(h) 단계 (f)에서 작성된 출력 블록을 조합시켜 상기 출력 데이타를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축 비디오 출력 데이타 제공 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,단계 (c)에서 상기 저주파수로 변화하는 상관 성분은 상기 예측된 블록과 상기 입력 블록 사이의 평균 휘도차 에너지를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,단계 (c)에서 상기 저주파수로 변화하는 상관 성분은 상기 예측된 블록과 상기 입력 블록 사이의 DC 휘도차 에너지를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,단계 (e)에서 상기 선택 예측된 블록 상관 계수 값은 상기 예측된 블록의 최저값을 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,단계 (c)에서 상기 상관 계수는 상기 저주파수로 변화하는 상관 성분의 상기 척도를 상기 상관 인덱스와 비선형 결합함으로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,단계 (c)에서 상기 상관 계수는 상기 저주파수로 변화하는 상관 성분의 상기 가변 척도를 상관 인덱스로부터 감산함으로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,단계 (c)는 상기 저주파수로 변화하는 상관 성분의 상기 가변 척도를 선택하여 상기 상관 계수를 최소화하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 입력 픽셀 블록의 형태로 디지탈화된 입력 비디오 데이타를 압축하고 출력 단말에서 압축된 출력 비디오 블록을 제공하는 장치에 있어서,상기 입력 픽셀 블록을 나타내는 압축된 출력 픽셀 블록을 제공하는 압축 네트워크(70)와,상기 압축된 픽셀 블록을 해제하여 해제된 픽셀 블록을 제공하는 해제 네트워크(75)와,상기 해제된 블록으로부터의 입력 블록에 대해 상기 해제된 블록으로부터 다수의 예측된 픽셀 블록을 형성하는 예측 네트워크(95, 85, 80, 90)와,상기 다수의 예측된 블록으로부터 입력 블록과 소정의 상관도를 갖는 예측된 블록을 선택하는 선택 정보를 제공하는 결정 프로세서(32)와,입력 선택 정보에 응답하여 상기 예측된 블록 중 하나를 선택하는 선택 네트워크(97)를 포함하고,상기 압축 네트워크는 상기 선택 예측된 블록에 응답하여 상기 출력 단말에서 출력 압축된 블록을 작성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 압축된 출력 비디오 블록 제공 장치.
