Abstract
PURPOSE: Provided are an aerator and a sewage/wastewater treatment plant with the same aerator and fixed bed, wherein the aerator is capable of circulating water to be treated uniform in an aeration tank without depending on a structure of the aeration tank, thereby increasing oxygen adsorption rate of the water to be treated. CONSTITUTION: The sewage/wastewater treatment plant comprises a grit chamber(1), a flow equalization basin(2), a plurality of aeration tanks(3,4,5), each with an aerator(30), a settling basin(6) and an effluent tank(7), wherein the aerator(30) is comprised of a fixed bed supporting plate(10) at the bottom thereof, a plurality of fixed beds(20) arranged on the fixed bed supporting plate(10) at regular intervals, a non-treated water transportation pipe(31) at the center thereof, an air supply pipe(32) extending through inside the non-treated water transportation pipe(31), a first contact plate and a first contact bar installed at the top of the transportation pipe(31), and a second contact plate and a second contact bar installed around the top of the transportation pipe(31).
