Abstract

PURPOSE: Provided is a biodegradable plastic composition which is obtained by using biodegradable and inexpensive corn powder, and which can overcome soil, air and marine pollutions owing to landfill and incineration. CONSTITUTION: The biodegradable plastic composition comprises 100 parts by weight of polyolefin matrix resin, 150-400 parts by weight of corn powder, and 0.1-10 parts by weight of chemical binder selected from the group consisting of silane-based binder represented by formula 1, isopropyl triisostearoyl titanate, and a mixture thereof. Formula 1: X-(CH2)n-Si(OR)3(wherein X represents any one selected from the group containing functional groups consisting of vinyl, amino, epoxy, methacryl and chloro, n is an integer of 0-100, and OR is methoxy or ethoxy).
