Abstract

PURPOSE: A filtration tower for treating wastewater which can remove minute pollutants or microorganisms by preventing the clogging of filter as performing microfiltration is provided. CONSTITUTION: Filter layer is constituted by filing up filter media(36,38) and inflow water is filtrated by passing through it. An agitator(40) which is composed of a water wheel(44) and an agitation means(46) is installed at the upper part of filter layer. The agitation means is composed of a plate(76) and several pins(78) of which direction is toward the lower part of plate. A rake(78a) is installed at the bottom of pin.
