Abstract

PURPOSE: An apparatus with combine for softening fresh rice straw is provided to promote fermentation of wrap silage and drying rate of the straw and to obtain high quality of crude feed product by striking the rice straw to be soften. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus(10) comprises a cylindrical body(11) having inlets(13) in longitudinal direction at top portion and outlets(16) in longitudinal direction at lower portion; a main driving shaft(21) mounted in the longitudinal direction from both side inner walls; at least a pair of rotational plates(23,23a) mounted on the shaft opposite to each other at determined space; at least a pair of striking blades(25) mounted on the rotational plates to rotate in the same direction to the rotational plates and to strike the rice straw.
