Description
Claims (6)
- 영상시스템에 적용되는 영상 객체 분할 방법에 있어서,영상 시퀀스상의 첫 번째 프레임상에 존재하는 영상 객체 혹은 그 뒤 연속된 프레임에서 새롭게 나타나는 영상 객체를 사용자의 조력 및 공간 정보를 이용하여 수동 혹은 반수동으로 일차 분할하는 제 1 단계;이전 분할 객체의 움직임 추적에 의하여, 이전 프레임에서 일차 분할된 영상 객체를 자동으로 영역 분할하는 제 2 단계;상기 제 2 단계를 연속된 프레임에 대하여 반복 수행할 때, 연속 프레임간에 장면전환이 있거나 자동 영역 분할된 영상 객체이외에 새로운 영상 객체가 있는 경우에, 해당 영상 객체에 대해 상기 제 1 단계 및 제 2 단계를 반복 수행하는 제 3 단계; 및상기 제 2 단계를 연속된 프레임에 대하여 반복 수행할 때, 프레임간 장면전환이 없고 자동 영역 분할된 영상 객체이외에 새로운 영상 객체가 없는 경우에, 영상 객체의 영역 분할 결과를 검사하여, 사용자의 만족시에 상기 제 2 단계를 수행하고, 불만족시에 상기 제 1 단계에서 사용자에 의해 보정된 영역 분할 결과를 상기 제 2 단계의 자동 분할 과정에 반영하는 제 4 단계를 포함하는 사용자의 조력 및 물체추적에 의한 영상 객체 분할 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 3 단계는,영상 객체를 영역 분할하기 전에 연속 프레임간 장면 전환을 검출하여, 장면 전환이 존재할 경우에 사용자의 조력에 위한 일차 영역 분할 과정으로 유도하고, 장면 전환이 없는 경우에 물체 추적에 의한 자동 영역 분할 과정을 수행토록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자의 조력 및 물체추적에 의한 영상 객체 분할 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 3 단계는,물체 추적에 의한 영역 분할을 반복할 때, 물체 추적에 의하여 영역 분할된 영상 객체 이외에 새롭게 나타난 영상 객체가 있는지를 판단하여, 새로운 영상 객체가 나타난 경우에 새로운 영상 객체를 수동 혹은 반수동으로 영역 분할하는 사용자 조력에 의한 일차 영역 분할 과정으로 유도하고, 새롭게 나타난 영상 객체가 없는 경우에 물체 추적에 의한 자동 영역 분할 과정을 수행토록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자의 조력 및 물체추적에 의한 영상 객체 분할 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 일차 영역 분할 과정은,사용자가 마우스 혹은 다른 사용자 인터페이스 도구를 이용하여 완전 수동으로 영상내의 객체를 영역 분할하거나, 사용자가 상기 사용자 인터페이스 도구를 이용하여 간단히 영상 객체의 경계선을 지정하면 저장된 정보 및 영상분할정보를 이용하여 프로그램이 영상내의 객체를 반수동으로 영역 분할하는 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자의 조력 및 물체추적에 의한 영상 객체 분할 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 자동 영역 분할 과정은,이전 프레임에서 상기 일차 영역 분할된 영상 객체가 현재 프레임의 어디로 움직이는지를 추적하여 연속된 프레임에서 영상 객체를 자동으로 영역 분할하는 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자의 조력 및 물체추적에 의한 영상 객체 분할 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 영상분할정보는,바람직하게는, 밝기 및 컬러 정보를 포함하는 공간정보인 것을 특징으로 하는 사용자의 조력 및 물체추적에 의한 영상 객체 분할 방법.
