Abstract

PURPOSE: A small household ozone generation apparatus for washing and sterilization is provided which not only washes dishes but also sterilizes fruits and vegetables in the washing process using strong oxidizing power generated by action between water and ozone supplied into water. CONSTITUTION: In an ozone generation apparatus comprising air suction pumps installed inside a body, an ozonizer installed at the upper side of the pumps, a bubbler supplying a mixed air of air and ozone generated from the ozonizer into the water through a hose, and a control box supplying power to the pumps and the ozonizer, the ozonizer for washing and sterilization is characterized in that the ozonizer(4) further comprises a glass discharge tube(6) which is fixed to the support tube(15) inside a case(15) equipped with an elbow tube(10) and a support tube(15); a copper tube(7) which has a shorter length than the discharge tube(6), and which is adhered onto the outer circumferential surface of the glass discharge tube(6); a coil shaped nichrome wire(8) which is installed in the glass discharge tube(6); and conducting wires(16,16') of the copper tube(7) and the coil shaped nichrome wire(8) which are connected to terminals(9,9') penetrating the case(5) and the body.
