Abstract

본 발명은 위험시의 에어백 작동시 에어백 통로용 리세스를 구비하는 겹판 포일 또는 포말 지지부로 이루어지는 자동차용 내부 외장 구성부품, 특히 기구 패널에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 금속판의 보강 스트립이 접합 가장자리를 따라 리벳으로 고정되는 특징이 있다.

Description

자동차용 내부 외장 구성부품
충돌시 자동차 내부의 앞좌석 승객의 보호를 위해 기구 패널의 지지부 내에 에어백 통로용 리세스가 제공되는 것은 공지되어 있다. 리세스의 가장자리에서 기구 패널의 지지부상에 경첩으로 부착되어 있는 상기 리세스 내부에 플랩이 삽입된다. 플랩은 포말(泡沫) 코팅된 플라스틱 포일로 된 기구 패널의 박판으로 덮어 씌워진다. 또한 플랩은 기구 패널 지지부의 통합 구성부품으로 제조된다. 그러나, 상기는 단지 포일 하부에 상대적으로 두꺼운 포말 층으로 제공되는 장치에서 이루어진다. 따라서 상기 포일 박판은 진공을 통해 지지부를 향하여 끌어 넣어질 때 얇은 포일 박판을 구비하는 경우 처럼, 기구 패널 지지부와 플랩 사이의 틈(gap) 내부로 끌어 넣지 않는다. 상기 두 경우의 해결책은 DE 44 18 172. 8로부터 공지되어 있다.
유리 섬유 강화 열가소성 물질과 같은 열에서 높은 정도의 안전성을 가지는 플라스틱으로 만들어진 지지부의 경우에는 폭발적인 개방으로 에어백 플랩이 파열되고 이로써 자동차 내부의 사람에게 부상을 입힐 수 있는 특별한 위험이 있다. 이러한 위험을 방지하기 위해 추가적인 캐칭(catching) 밸트가 제안되었다. 그러나 상기는 비교적 상당한 추가적인 설치 노동과 추가적인 중량을 유발한다.
본 발명은 위험시 에어백(airbag)이 작동될 때 에어백의 통로용 리세스(recess)를 구비하는 겹판 포일(foil) 내지 폼(foam) 지지부로 이루어지는 내부 외장 구성부품, 특히 자동차용 기구 패널(panel)에 관한 것으로, 상기 리세스는 접합 가장자리를 통해 그의 외주(外周) 일 부분 위의 한 부품내에서 지지부와 연결되는 플랩(flap)으로 채워지며, 상기 기구 패널은 상기 지지부의 바닥면상에 접합 가장자리를 따라 리벳(rivet)으로 고정된 금속판의 보강 스트립(strip)을 구비한다.
제1도는 에어백 플랩을 구비하는 자동차의 기구 패널을 보여주는 평면도이고, 및
제2도는 부분 단면도이다.
따라서 본 발명은 자동차의 기구 패널 또는 문 외장 패널과 같은 내부 외장 구성부품용 장치를 제공하는데 목적의 기초를 둔다. 그러나 상기는 또한 위험시의 에어백 폭발 동안 지지부로 부터 플랩이 분리되지 않음을 보장한다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위해 본 발명에 따라서 전술한 것과 같은 종류의 내부 외장 내에서, 상기 지지부의 주조시에 상기 금속판의 스트립내부에 있는 리벳 개구부(opening) 안으로 유동하는 지지 재료로 구성되는 리벳 접합부가 제안되었다.
본 발명의 실시예가 첨부된 도면을 통해 나타내어졌다.
보통, 기구 패널(1)은 포일로 겹판을 이룬 지지부(2)를 구성한다. 앞좌석 승객 측면에 플랩(5)이 장착되며 상기는 그의 외주 부분위로 지지부(2)와 통합된다. 금속 판 스트립(8)은 하부로 부터의 보강을 위해 지지부(2) 및 플랩(5) 사이의 접합 가장자리(7)를 따라 리벳으로 고정된다. 금속판 스트립(8)을 접합 가장자리(7)상에 압박하는 동안, 지지 재료(10)가 리벳 개구부(9)를 통해 금속판 스트립(8) 내부로 유동하고, 경화(curing) 후 리벳 접합부를 형성한다. 상기 방법에서 헤드(head)가 노출되고 전체 외관을 손상하는 다른 리벳들을 생략할 수 있다. 또한 다른 리벳들은 박판을 손상시킬 수 있다. 금속판의 보강 스트립의 부착은 플랩과 통합된 지지부의 제조 중 저렴하게 만들어질 수 있다. 즉, 추가 작업 공정없이 제조될 수 있다.
상기한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따라 위험시의 에어백 폭발 동안 지지부로 부터 플랩이 분리되지 않음을 보장하기 위한 금속판의 보강 스트립의 부착은 플랩과 통합된 지지부의 제조 중 저렴하고 추가 작업 공정 없이 만들어질 수 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 위험시 에어백(airbag)이 작동할 경우 상기 에어백 통로용 리세스(recess)를 구비하는 겹판 포일(foil) 또는 포말 지지부로 구성되며, 상기 리세스는 접합 가장자리에 의해 외주(外周)의 일 부분상의 한 부품내에서 상기 지지부와 연결되는 플랩(flap)으로 채워지고, 상기 지지부의 바닥면 상에 상기 접합 가장자리를 따라서 리벳으로 고정되는 금속판의 보강 스트립을 포함하는 내부 외장 구성부품, 특히 자동차용 기구 패널(panel)에 있어서, 상기 리벳으로 고정된 접합부는 상기 지지부(2)의 주조 공정동안 상기 금속판의 스트립(8)내에 리벳 개구부(9) 내부로 유동하는 지지 재료(10)에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 내부 외장 구성부품.
