The present invention relates to a method of reinforcing a rubber spike pin for anti-slip of a tire, which is excellent in various performances such as braking performance required on a snowy road surface, and also excellent in abrasion resistance, noise prevention performance, and road damage prevention performance required on a general road surface.
Conventionally, rubber spike pins applied with cemented carbide are mounted on treads of tires in order to ensure a braking effect on ice snow on winter snow tires. These rubber spike pins are able to exert sufficient braking effect, so they have excellent braking performance and driving performance on the snowy road surface, but they cause problems such as noise or road damage when driving on general roads other than the snowy road surface.
Therefore, in order to solve the above problem, a resin spike pin that can replace the rubber spike pin has been proposed, which exhibits sufficient braking performance for the ice snow road surface to satisfy the defrosting performance on the snow road surface and the general road surface. The wear resistance on the road had a disadvantage of falling.
Accordingly, a rubber spike pin has been proposed as a result of the research on the spike pin having excellent wear resistance and excellent defrosting performance on ice and snow roads. The rubber composition of the rubber spike pin has been described in Korean Patent Application No. 93-10554, filed by the applicant, which shows the function and exertion effect of the rubber spike pin on the ice snow surface, and prevents road breakage. In order to prevent the wear resistance from falling due to the high styrene rubber and the high styrene content of the high styrene rubber, a rubber composition composed of nitrile rubber having excellent abrasion resistance is a main material. Not only was it excellent, but it also had excellent performance on ice and snow roads.Because the stress applied when the pin rod is in contact with the ground concentrates on a part of the pin rod, the pin rod is broken well, which leads to poor durability and the viscoelasticity of the spike pin. The pins on the tire tread The resilience occurring between the rubber tread of the spike pin and the tire was inferior in workability problems.
The present invention is to solve the above problems, it characterized in that the alloy support is inserted into the rubber spike pin or the alloy-based outer shell coated on the rubber spike pin.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of a rubber spike pin according to the rubber spike pin reinforcement method of the present invention, the base plate (2) and the lower end of the spike pin consisting of a pin rod (1) having a supporting portion (1a) in the alloy-based support ( 3) is inserted, and FIG. 2 is a front view showing another example of the rubber spike pin according to the present invention, wherein the bottom plate 2 and the lower end of the pin rod 1 having the supporting portion 1a (see FIG. 1) are alloyed. The system shell 4 is covered.
The pin rod (1) and the base plate (2) is formed by molding and vulcanizing an existing rubber composition composed of high styrene-based rubber and nitrile rubber as a main material, and the supporting portion (1a) of the pin rod (1) is the pin rod (1) It is formed to increase the bending strength of).
The support (3) and the outer shell (4) reinforces the site in order to prevent the break between the pin rod and the bottom plate easily concentrated due to stress concentration, and workability when mounting the spike pin to the tread of the tire It is for improving and is formed with the alloy metal which is excellent in thermal conductivity.
The support 3 and the shell 4 is preferably to be 5-95% of the total volume of the spike pin.
Since the weak part of the spike pin is reinforced by the support 3 and the outer shell 4 as described above, the fracture of the weak part is prevented, and the elastic resilience between the spike pin and the tread is reduced when the spike pin is mounted on the tread of the tire. This makes it easy to attach spike pins.
Comparative Test Example
The performance of the tire with the rubber spike pin according to the present invention and the tire with the rubber spike pin formed by molding and vulcanizing a rubber composition composed mainly of high styrene-based rubber and nitrile rubber are compared with those of a general snow tire, respectively. The test results are shown in Table 1 below.
The performance of each item in Table 1 is a comparison of the performance of each item with respect to the general snow tire as 100, the performance of each item except the noise indicates that the higher the index, the better the performance, Therefore, it can be seen that the durability of the rubber spike pin according to the present invention is remarkably superior to the conventional rubber spike pin.
As described above, in the present invention, the alloy support 3 is inserted into the rubber spike pin formed by molding and vulcanizing using a rubber composition composed of high styrene rubber and a nitrile main material, or an alloy outside the rubber spike pin. By covering the system shell 4, the weakness of the rubber spike pin can be reinforced while satisfying the performance on the ice snow road surface and the general road surface, and the durability performance can be remarkably improved.
In addition, workability when mounting the rubber spike pins to the tire is improved by reducing the resilience between the rubber spike pins and the tire treads by the alloy support 3 or the alloy sheath 4.
