Claims (16)
- 용융된 점착성 결합제 물질(이는 25℃에서 고체 상태로 존재한다)입자 다수를 섬유로 이루어진 매트에 도포하는 단계(a)및 결합제 물질을 당해 물질이 고체 상태로 존재하는 온도로 냉각시켜 입자들을 섬유에 접착시키고 섬유들을 서로 결합시켜 섬유 예비성형물을 형성하는 단계(b)(여기서, 결합제 물질은 매트 100중량부당 0.25내지 20부의 양으로 존재한다)를 포함하여, 결합제를 섬유로 이루어진 매트에 도포하여 섬유 예비성형물을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 결합제 물질이 열가소성 유기 중합체이고, 섬유매트가 유리 섬유, 흑연 섬유, 탄소섬유 또는 굽힘 탄성률이 큰 유기 중합체 섬유를 포함하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 섬유의 직경이 1내지 1000μ이고, 결합제 물질이 매트 100중량부당 내지 20중량부의 양으로 사용되는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 결합제 물질이 열가소성 에폭시 수지이고, 섬유가 평균 길이 0.25내지 10in의 유리 섬유인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 매트가 제직 또는 편직 유리 섬유로 이루어지는 방법.

- 제11항에 있어서, 섬유의 직경이 1내지 1000μ이고 평균 길이가 0.25내지 4in이며, 결합제 물질이 매트 100중량부당 1내지 20중량부의 양으로 사용되는 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 섬유가 유리 섬유, 흑연 섬유, 탄소섬유 또는 굽힘 탄성률이 큰 유기 중합체이며, 결합제 물질이 열가소성 유기 중합체인 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 단계(c)에서 결합제 물질 입자가 화염에 의해 용융되는 방법.
- 제14항에 있어서, 입자들이 분무되고 화염 분사장치에 의해 부분적으로 용융되는 방법.
