종래의 승용차 실내 후시경은 운전자와는 비교적 먼거리인 운전석앞 위 인도 중간부 상측에 설치되어 있는 관계로 이에 비추어지는 범위가 매우 좁아서 차체의 양모서리 후측에 사각지점이 생기는 결점이 있고 또한 운전자의 눈과의 거리를 가깝게 하면 상대적으로 거울에 비추어지는 범위를 넓게하여 사각지점을 최소화 할 수 있으나 이의 거리 조정을 할 수 없는 결점이 있었던 것이다.Conventional passenger car rearview mirror is installed in the upper part of the middle part of the driver's seat, which is relatively far from the driver's seat, so the range of reflected light is very narrow, and there is a drawback that there is a blind spot at the rear of both sides of the car body.
