Abstract
The present invention relates to a power switching device of a traffic signal controller, and more particularly, to a power switching device of a traffic signal controller to prevent the central processing unit of the traffic signal controller from being reset by preventing a temporary power failure. In the prior art, when an abnormality occurs in the main power supply, an interruption time caused by a delay time due to the mechanical movement of the relay occurs at the moment of power switching operation, which causes a reset of the traffic signal controller. Since there is a problem of causing confusion in the communication at the intersection because of normal return, in the present invention, since the power is continuously supplied by using the voltage difference between the main power supply and the auxiliary power supply without using a relay as in the prior art, the reset of the traffic signal controller is performed. It can not cause the normal traffic signal control It is possible that the effects do not cause interference to communication of control intersections.

The present invention relates to a power switching device of a traffic signal controller, and more particularly, to a power switching device of a traffic signal controller to prevent the central processing unit of the traffic signal controller from being reset by preventing temporary power failure. will be.
As shown in FIG. 1, the power switching device of the conventional traffic signal controller detects an abnormality of the first power source Va and outputs a signal therefor, and the voltage detection unit 100. It is composed of a power selection unit 110 to switch by the output signal of the first power source (Va) or the second power source (Vb) to select and output through the output terminal (Vout).
The power switching device of the conventional traffic signal controller configured as described above will be described in detail.
The voltage detecting device 101 of the voltage detecting unit 100 receives the first power supply Va to the input terminal IN, and the input voltage is set as the set voltage of the voltage detecting device 101 as shown in FIG. When the voltage is higher than Vs, a high potential signal is output to the output terminal OUT thereof, and the transistor TR1 of the power supply selecting unit 110 is turned on by the signal, and the relay RL1 is brought into contact with one terminal A. One power source Va is output through the output terminal Vaout.
However, when an abnormality occurs in the first power supply Va, as shown in FIG. 3, the voltage of the first power supply Va input through the input terminal IN of the voltage detection device 101 is set as the set voltage. Since it is lower than Vs), the low-potential signal is output to the output terminal OUT thereof as shown in FIG. 2A, and the transistor TR1 of the power selector 110 is turned off so that the relay TR1 is turned to the other terminal. The second power source Vb as shown in FIG. 2B is output through the output terminal Vout as a contact point at (B).
In addition, when the first power source Va is normally restored, the high voltage signal is output to the output terminal OUT of the voltage detecting device 101 so that the transistor TR1 is turned on. By contacting A), the first power supply Va is output through the output terminal Vout.
However, at the moment when an abnormality occurs in the first power source Va and the relay RL1 of the power selector 110 moves a contact from one terminal A to the other terminal B, that is, at the moment of power switching operation, the relay is turned on. Due to the delay time according to the mechanical movement of (RL1), an interruption time occurs as shown in (c) of FIG. 2, which causes a reset of the traffic signal controller. Since the return to normal after the flashing operation there was a problem causing confusion in the communication of the intersection.
Accordingly, the present invention has the purpose to solve the problem of occurrence of a momentary power failure state during the power switching operation in view of such a conventional problem, the present invention having this purpose will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 4 is a detailed circuit diagram of the power switching device of the traffic signal controller of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 4, the first voltage detector 200 and the second power supply Vb detecting the abnormality of the first power supply Va are shown in FIG. The second voltage detector 210 detects the abnormality, the first switch 220 switched by the output signal of the first voltage detector 200, and the output signal of the second voltage detector 210. A first power supply unit configured to supply or stop the first power supply Va through the output terminal Vout by operating by the second switching unit 230 and the output signal of the first switching unit 220. 240 and a second power supply unit 250 which operates by the output signal of the second switching unit 230 to supply or stop the second power supply Vb through the output terminal Vout. The operation and effects of the present invention will be described in detail.
When the first power supply Va is normally supplied, a high potential signal is output to the output terminal OUT of the voltage detection device 201 of the first voltage detection unit 200 as shown in FIG. When the transistor TR11 of the first switching unit 220 is turned on, a low potential signal is applied to the bases of the transistors TR12 (TR13) and TR14 of the first power supply unit 240 and the transistor TR12 ( TR13 and TR14 are turned on so that the first power supply Va is supplied through the output terminal Vout.
In addition, when the second power supply Vb is normally supplied, a high potential signal is output to the output terminal OUT of the voltage detection element 211 of the second voltage detection unit 210 to output the transistor of the second switching unit 230. TR15 is turned on, whereby a low-potential signal is applied to the base of the transistors TR16 (TR17) and TR18 of the second power supply 250 so that the transistors TR16, TR17 and TR18 are On, the second power supply Vb is supplied through the output terminal Vout.
At this time, more current is supplied through the output terminal Vout at the higher voltage side due to a slight voltage difference between the first power supply Va and the second power supply Vb supplied to the output terminal Vout.
However, as shown in FIG. 5A, when an abnormality occurs in the first power source Va, the voltage applied to the input terminal IN of the voltage detecting element 201 of the first voltage detecting unit 200 is zero. As shown in FIG. 3, since the voltage is lower than the set voltage Vs, the low potential signal is output to the output terminal OUT of the voltage detecting device 201, so that the transistor TR11 of the first switching unit 220 is turned off. The transistors TR12 (TR13) and TR14 of the first power supply unit 240 are also turned off to isolate the first power supply Va and the output terminal Vout from each other.
Meanwhile, the second power supply Vb is normally output as shown in FIG. 5B through the second voltage detector 210, the second switching unit 230, and the second power supply unit 250. Since the second power supply Vb is outputted without a power cut time as shown in FIG. 5C, when the first power supply Va is switched from the second power supply Vb to the second power supply Vb, the output terminal Vout is output. ), Continuous steady power is output.
When the amount of current of the first power source Va and the second power source Vb output through the output terminal Vout is large, as shown in FIG. 6, the transistors TR12, TR13, TR14, TR14, and TR16. In order to prevent the voltage drop between the first power supply Va and the second power supply Vb and the output terminal Vout from increasing due to a sudden increase in the saturation voltage Vsat of TR17 and TR18. By increasing the number of repetitions of the transistors TR12 (TR13), TR14, TR16, TR17, and TR18 connected in parallel with the first power supply 240 and the second power supply 250, they are used in the circuit operating area. Consider the saturation voltage (Vsat) value to be sufficiently low for the current to be.
Thus, as described above, the present invention configures the circuit so that the disconnection time occurring at the moment of power switching does not occur, thereby configuring the circuit so as not to cause the reset of the traffic signal controller, thereby causing the reset of the traffic signal controller. The traffic control can be continued so that normal traffic signal control can be continued, thereby preventing the traffic at the intersection from causing an obstacle.
