Claims

An eye mask for treating ocular conditions comprising:
a fabric having a first layer and a second layer opposite the first layer;
a heat diffusive filler material enclosed between the first layer and the second layer;
the first and second layers are stitched together substantially along edges of the layers;
An eye mask, wherein the filler material is configured to deliver moist heat to the surface of the eye.

2. The eye mask of claim 1, wherein one or more rows of stitch points define at least three substantially distinct segments in the first and second layers.

3. The eye mask of Claim 2, wherein the first segment is arranged substantially along the horizontal axis.

4. The eye mask of Claim 3, wherein the first section is substantially separated from the second and third sections by one or more rows of stitch points.

5. The eye mask of claim 4, wherein filler material enclosed within said first compartment is substantially isolated from filler material enclosed within said second and third compartments.

2. The eye mask of claim 1, wherein said filler material comprises a thermally conductive material.

2. An eye mask according to claim 1, wherein said filler material comprises a plurality of silica beads.

2. The eye mask of claim 1, wherein the eye mask is configured to treat dry eye.

further comprising an adjustable strap member, said strap member comprising:
a first strap portion interposed between the first and second layers along a first side of the eye mask;
a second strap portion interposed between the first and second layers along a second side of the eye mask;
2. An eye mask according to claim 1, wherein each strap portion includes one or more fastening elements.

An eye mask for treating ocular conditions comprising:
(A) a cover,
a first layer;
a second layer, the first layer and the second layer being substantially sewn together along edges of the layers;
a cover having a fabric including a pocket formed between the first layer and the second layer;
(B) an insert configured to be positioned within the pocket;
An eye mask, wherein the insert includes a heat diffusing filler material, the filler material configured to deliver moist heat to the surface of the eye.

11. The eye mask of claim 10, wherein said filler material is arranged in a cross-hatch pattern.

11. An eye mask as in claim 10, wherein said filler material comprises a thermally conductive material.

11. The eye mask of Claim 10, wherein the insert is removable and further configured to be heated in a microwave.

11. The eye mask of Claim 10, wherein the cover is configured to be hand or machine washed.

A kit for providing hyperthermia to an eye, comprising:
(a) an eye mask according to claim 1;
(b) a kit comprising one or more eyelid wipes, wherein the eyelid wipes are impregnated with an eyelid cleanser;

16. The kit of claim 15, wherein the eyelid cleanser comprises a composition comprising polyhexamethylene biguanide.

A kit for providing hyperthermia to an eye, comprising:
(a) an eye mask according to claim 10;
(b) a kit comprising one or more eyelid wipes, wherein the eyelid wipes are impregnated with an eyelid cleanser;

18. The kit of claim 17, wherein the eyelid cleanser comprises a composition comprising polyhexamethylene biguanide.
