Abstract
Description
しかし、これらは何れも材料における音速値が低いため、高周波で励振した際に、音波周波数に材料の振動が追従しにくく、分割振動が発生しやすい。そのため特に高周波数領域において所望の音圧が出にくい。
本発明のガラス板構成体は、第1のガラス板と、前記第1のガラス板に対向して配置される第2の板と、前記第1のガラス板および前記第2の板の間に液体を封止して形成される液体層と、を備えるガラス板構成体であって、平面視においてそれぞれ独立した、即ちそれぞれ独立して振動可能な複数の振動領域を有する。
共振を抑えるには、損失係数を大きくすればよく、すなわち、振幅hに対し相対的に周波数幅Wは大きくなり、ピークがブロードとなることを意味する。
本発明に係るガラス板構成体は、少なくとも2枚(少なくとも一対)の板の間に液体からなる層(液体層)を設けることで、高い損失係数を実現することができる。中でも、液体層の粘性や表面張力を好適な範囲にすることで、より損失係数を高くすることができる。これは、一対の板を、粘着層を介して設ける場合とは異なり、一対の板が固着せず、各々の板としての振動特性を持ち続けることに起因するものと考えられる。尚、説明を簡略化するため、第1のガラス板と第2の板をそれぞれ「板」と称している。
液体層の25℃における表面張力は17mN/m以上がより好ましく、30mN/m以上がさらに好ましい。
液体層の厚みの下限は、生産性および耐久性の点から0.01μm以上が好ましい。
液体層における粉体の含有量は0〜10体積%が好ましく、0〜5体積%がより好ましい。
粉体の粒径は沈降を防ぐ観点から10nm〜10μmが好ましく、0.5μm以下がより好ましい。
シール材が、一方の板の端面と、液体層の端面と、他方の板の主面に密着している。一方の板の端面および液体層の端面が、他方の板の主面に対して垂直な場合、シール材は、断面視においてL字状に延びた輪郭を有する。このような構成により、ガラス板構成体の強度が向上する。
本発明に係るガラス板構成体においては、液体層を両側から挟むように、少なくとも2枚(少なくとも一対)の板が設けられる。そして、2枚の板のうち少なくとも1枚の板がガラス板である。このような構成において、何れかの板が共振した場合に、液体層の存在により、他の板が共振しない、又は、他の板の共振の揺れを減衰することができることから、ガラス板構成体は、ガラス板単独の場合と比べて損失係数を高くすることができる。

式(1)における左辺の値が大きくなるほど二つの板の共振周波数の差異(|Qa−Qb|)が大きくなり、高い損失係数が得られるようになることから好ましい。

なお、板の共振周波数(ピークトップ)および共振振幅の半値幅は、ガラス板構成体における損失係数と同様の方法で測定することができる。

SiO2:40〜80質量%、Al2O3:0〜35質量%、B2O3:0〜15質量%、MgO:0〜20質量%、CaO:0〜20質量%、SrO:0〜20質量%、BaO:0〜20質量%、Li2O:0〜20質量%、Na2O:0〜25質量%、K2O:0〜20質量%、TiO2:0〜10質量%、かつ、ZrO2:0〜10質量%。但し上記組成がガラス全体の95質量%以上を占める。
SiO2:55〜75質量%、Al2O3:0〜25質量%、B2O3:0〜12質量%、MgO:0〜20質量%、CaO:0〜20質量%、SrO:0〜20質量%、BaO:0〜20質量%、Li2O:0〜20質量%、Na2O:0〜25質量%、K2O:0〜15質量%、TiO2:0〜5質量%、かつ、ZrO2:0〜5質量%。但し上記組成がガラス全体の95質量%以上を占める。
ガラス板構成体を構成する板の少なくとも1枚および液体層の少なくともいずれか一方に着色することも可能である。これは、ガラス板構成体に意匠性を持たせたい場合や、IRカット、UVカット、プライバシーガラス等の機能性を持たせたい場合に有用である。
ガラス板の質量や厚みについても同様に、すべて異なっても、すべて同一でも、一部が異なっていてもよい。中でも、構成するガラス板の質量が全て同一であることが振動減衰性の点から好ましく用いられる。
用いるフレームの重量は、ガラス板の重量の20%以下であることが好ましく、10%以下であることがより好ましい。
熱可塑性樹脂(ホットメルトボンド)を用いることも出来る。例として、エチレン酢酸ビニル系、ポリオレフィン系、ポリアミド系、合成ゴム系、アクリル系、ポリウレタン系が挙げられる。
シール部材の厚さtは、薄すぎると十分な強度が確保されず、厚すぎると振動の支障となる。ゆえにシール部材の厚さは10μm以上かつガラス板構成体の合計厚みの5倍以下であることが好ましく、50μm以上かつガラス板構成体の合計厚みより薄いことがより好ましい。
本発明の振動板は、ガラス板構成体および、第1のガラス板または第2の板に設けられた振動子を含むことが好ましい。
図1は、本発明のガラス板構成体10の一例を示す断面図で、(a)は第1の実施形態、(b)は第2の実施形態を示す。
シール材50は、例えば縦100mm、横100mm、厚さ0.5mmの第2の板30の主面31に、ディスペンサーを用いて端部32から1mm間隔をあけ、幅0.5mmで線描画される。また、複数の振動領域70を形成するため、仕切部60を第2の板30の主面31にシール材5と同様に線描画する。仕切部60は、シール材50と同じ材料でも良く、シール材50より接着強度の低い材料でも良い。
ディスペンサーを用いて、第2の板30の中央部分(シール材50に取り囲まれた部分)に液剤(オイル剤)を、例えば線幅0.5mm、線間隔4mmでシール材50の塗布線との間隔2mmを保って線描画する。液剤の吐出量は、貼合後の液体層40の層厚が3μmになるように質量を合わせて塗布する。例えば、シール材50の線内部の領域が縦100mm、横100mmであるところに、厚さ3μmで密度1g/cm3の液剤を塗布する場合、塗布量合計0.03gになるように吐出質量をコントロールすればよい。このとき、シール材50と液体層40になる液剤の線描画はどちらを先に塗布しても良い。
上述の工程を経て、シール材50、仕切部60および液剤を塗布し、塗布した第2の板30と、同種同サイズの未塗布の第1のガラス板20を減圧下で貼合する。減圧貼合の際、圧力は1500Pa以下であれば好ましく、300Pa以下であればより好ましく、さらに100Pa以下であれば好ましく、特に10Pa以下であることが望ましい。貼合後、UV照射や加熱など、使用するシール材50の硬化形態に合わせてシール材50を硬化させる。
尚、シール材50、仕切部60、液体層40の液剤を第2の板30の主面31に塗布することを説明したが、第1のガラス板20の主面21でも良い。

Claims (8)
- 第1のガラス板と、
前記第1のガラス板に対向して配置される第2の板と、
前記第1のガラス板および前記第2の板の間に液体を封止して形成される液体層と、を備えるガラス板構成体であって、
平面視においてそれぞれ独立した複数の振動領域を有する、
ガラス板構成体。 - 前記複数の振動領域の面積がそれぞれ等しい、請求項1に記載のガラス板構成体。
- 前記振動領域における前記液体層の液体は、当該振動領域の縁部に形成され、他の前記振動領域との境界を画定する仕切部によって密封されている請求項1または2に記載のガラス板構成体。
- 少なくとも二つの隣接した前記振動領域における前記液体層の液体は、当該二つの振動領域の境界を画定する仕切部において互いに流動可能な状態で接している請求項1または2に記載のガラス板構成体。
- 前記第1のガラス板および前記第2の板は、シール材を介して互いに固定されており、
前記仕切部は前記シール材と同じ材料より構成される、請求項3または4に記載のガラス板構成体。 - 前記第1のガラス板および前記第2の板は、シール材を介して互いに固定されており、
前記仕切部は前記シール材より接着強度の低い材料より構成される、請求項3または4に記載のガラス板構成体。 - 少なくとも二つの前記振動領域における前記液体層の液体は、互いに異なる成分を有する、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載のガラス板構成体。
- 請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載のガラス板構成体および、前記ガラス板構成体の片面または両面に設置された少なくとも1つの振動子を含む振動板。
