In the phase change region where the crystal structure of the negative electrode of the battery switches, the negative electrode potential becomes unstable, and an error occurs in the calculation of the degree of deterioration based on the internal resistance value of the battery. The battery control device of the present invention includes an SOC calculation unit that calculates the state of charge of the battery, and an SOH calculation unit that updates the calculation of the degree of deterioration of the battery based on the internal resistance value of the battery. If the state of charge is within the SOC range corresponding to the phase change region of the negative electrode of the battery, updating of the calculation of the degree of deterioration by the SOH calculation unit is suppressed.
Description
The present invention relates to a battery control device and a vehicle system.
Electric vehicle systems mounted on electric vehicles such as electric vehicles (EV), plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV), and hybrid vehicles (HEV) require battery voltage, temperature, and current to maximize battery performance. And a battery control device that calculates the state of charge (SOC) of the battery, the state of health (SOH), and the power that can be input to and output from the battery based on these.
The state of the battery is stored in a database based on the internal resistance characteristics of the battery obtained from the voltage and current when the battery is charged and discharged, and this is used to calculate the current internal resistance and calculate the SOH of the battery. are doing.
In
By the way, when a graphite-based material is used for the negative electrode of a battery, it is known that the crystal structure of the negative electrode differs according to the SOC of the battery. In a region where the crystal structure switches (hereinafter, a phase change region), The internal resistance value varies depending on the current pattern (for example, charging and discharging). For this reason, it is difficult to secure the internal resistance estimation accuracy based on the internal resistance characteristics measured in advance. For this reason, in the phase change region, there is a concern that the calculation accuracy of the SOH calculated based on the internal resistance of the battery decreases.
A battery control device according to the present invention includes: an SOC calculation unit that calculates a state of charge of a battery; and an SOH calculation unit that updates a calculation of a degree of deterioration of the battery based on an internal resistance value of the battery. In the case where the state of charge calculated in the above is within the SOC range corresponding to the phase change region of the negative electrode of the battery, updating of the calculation of the degree of deterioration by the SOH calculation unit is suppressed.
The vehicle system according to the present invention includes a battery control device including: an SOC calculation unit that calculates a state of charge of a battery; and an SOH calculation unit that updates a calculation of a degree of deterioration of the battery based on an internal resistance value of the battery. A vehicle control device that receives the state of charge of the battery and the degree of deterioration of the battery from the battery control device, wherein the state of charge calculated by the SOC calculating unit is If the SOC range corresponding to the negative electrode phase change region is not satisfied, the update of the calculation of the deterioration degree by the SOH calculation unit is stopped, and the update stop period of the calculation of the deterioration degree by the SOH calculation unit continues. Notifies the vehicle control device that the update suspension period continues, and the vehicle control device receives the notification, and performs the update by the SOH calculation unit. Change to a SOC control value, by setting the phase change region outside SOC, and updates the deterioration degree of calculation by the SOH calculation unit.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the calculation error of the deterioration degree based on the internal resistance value of a battery can be reduced.

The
The
The battery
The

記憶部320は、フラッシュメモリ、EEPROM(Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory)、磁気ディスクなどの記憶装置を用いて構成される。

Battery
SOC=SOCold+ΔSOC …(1)
The
SOC = SOCold + ΔSOC (1)
Here, ΔSOC = 100 × I × ts / Qmax.
As described above, the
SOH=100×R1/R0 …(2)
The internal

FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the relationship between the SOC of the

State A shown in FIG. 4 shows
The phase change region C is a region where the crystal structure of the negative electrode switches, and is a region where the
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the relationship between the SOC of the
The phase change region differs depending on the characteristics of the electrode material of the
FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing the operation of the
In step S10,
7A is a graph showing the charging and discharging of the
As the

More specifically, the SOH_average is determined as SOH by using the following equation (3) using a weighting factor w that changes the update rate of the SOH averaging process according to the SOC.
SOH_average = (1−w) × SOH_average (previous) + w × SOH (3)
Here, the weight coefficient w is 0 ≦ w ≦ 1. The weight coefficient w is a value corresponding to the SOC, and is represented by w = k (SOC). k is a correction coefficient. The SOH_average (previous) is the SOH_average updated last time by using the equation (3).
For example, as for the weight coefficient w, when the SOC is outside the phase change region, the SOH is updated by setting the weight coefficient w to 1 (100%). When the SOC is within the phase change region, the SOH update rate is changed by setting the weight coefficient w to 0 <w <1 (0% <w <100%). The relationship between the SOC and the weight coefficient w is stored in advance in the
Hereinafter, description will be made with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.

According to the second embodiment, when the SOC is within the phase change region, the SOH update rate is reduced, thereby reducing the SOH calculation error when the SOC is within the phase change region. Thereby, in the phase change region of the negative electrode of the

Hereinafter, description will be made with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG.
In step S30,
The weighting factor w can be calculated in advance from an energization pattern of the

As the
According to the third embodiment, when the SOC calculated repeatedly is continuously remaining in the phase change region stored in advance and the SOH update is stopped for a predetermined time, the SOH SOH is updated by reducing the update ratio of the SOH. Thereby, even when the SOC continues within the phase change region, it is possible to reduce the calculation error due to the internal resistance value. Further, the error of the SOH calculation can be reduced, and the life and performance of the

FIG. 14 is a flowchart illustrating the operation of the
In step S40,

FIG. 16 is a flowchart illustrating the operation of the

In step S54, the pattern of the SOH update ratio (weight coefficient w) corresponding to the previously updated SOH is read from the
Subsequently, in step S55, using the weighting factor w obtained in step S54, an SOH_average is obtained based on equation (3), and this is stored in the
