Description
《態様1》
以下のガラス組成を有する、グラスウール:
SiO2:60.0質量%以上65.0質量%以下、
Al2O3:0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
Na2O及びK2O:13.0質量%以上17.0質量%以下、
MgO及びCaO:8.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
B2O3:5.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
その他:残部。
《態様2》
以下のガラス組成を有する、態様1に記載のグラスウール:
Na2O及びK2O:14.0質量%以上16.5質量%以下、
MgO及びCaO:9.0質量%以上11.5質量%以下、
B2O3:5.0質量%以上8.0質量%以下。
《態様3》
以下のガラス組成を有する、態様1に記載のグラスウール:
SiO2:62.0質量%以上64.0質量%以下、
Al2O3:1.2質量%以上1.8質量%以下、
Na2O:14.0質量%以上16.0質量%以下、
K2O:0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
MgO:2.0質量%以上4.0質量%以下、
CaO:6.0質量%以上8.0質量%以下、
B2O3:6.0質量%以上8.0質量%以下。
《態様4》
平均繊維径が、0.5μm以上20μm未満である、態様1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
《態様5》
樹脂バインダを含んでいない、態様1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
《態様6》
シート状の成形体である、態様1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
《態様7》
JIS A 1475に規定するチャンバー法に準拠して測定した場合の7日目の平衡含水率が、1.0質量%以下である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
《態様8》
態様1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール及び前記グラスウールを封入する外皮を含む、真空断熱材。
《態様9》
以下を含む、態様1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウールの製造方法であって、
カレット及びガラス組成調整用の添加剤を含むガラス原料を溶融してガラス溶融物を得ること;及び
前記ガラス溶融物を繊維化すること。
本発明のグラスウールは、以下のガラス組成を有する:
SiO2:60.0質量%以上65.0質量%以下、
Al2O3:0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
Na2O及びK2O:13.0質量%以上17.0質量%以下、
MgO及びCaO:8.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
B2O3:5.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
その他:残部。
本発明のグラスウールのガラス組成は、SiO2の含有量が60.0質量%以上65.0質量%以下である。グラスウールのSiO2の含有量がこのような範囲である場合、ガラスの粘度及び溶融温度を適度な範囲にし、ガラス化を容易にし、ガラスに失透を生じにくくし、適度な弾性をグラスウールに与えることが可能となる。また、SiO2の含有量がこの範囲であれば、カレットからの製造が容易である。
本発明のグラスウールのガラス組成は、Al2O3の含有量が0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下である。グラスウールのAl2O3の含有量がこのような範囲である場合、ガラスの粘度及び溶融温度を適度な範囲にし、ガラスに失透を生じにくくし、適度な弾性、耐水性及び化学的耐久性をグラスウールに与えることが可能となる。また、Al2O3の含有量がこの範囲であれば、カレットからの製造が容易である。
本発明のグラスウールのガラス組成は、Na2O及びK2Oの含有量が13.0質量%以上17.0質量%以下である。他の構成成分を上記の範囲にした上でNa2O及びK2Oの量をこのような比較的低い含有量とすることによって、本発明のグラスウールは、水分吸着量を下げることができ、ガラスの粘度及び溶融温度を適度な範囲にし、かつ断熱材の物性としての必要性及び製造上の必要性を満たすことができる。また、Na2O及びK2Oの含有量がこの範囲であれば、強度の低下が生じにくい等の利点を有する。
本発明のグラスウールのガラス組成は、MgO及びCaOの含有量が8.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下である。他の構成成分を上記の範囲にした上でMgO及びCaOの量をこのような量とすることによって、本発明のグラスウールは、ガラスの粘度を下げ、かつ失透の可能性を低減している。また、MgO及びCaOの含有量がこの範囲であれば、強度の低下が生じにくい等の利点を有する。
本発明のグラスウールのガラス組成は、B2O3の含有量が5.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下である。他の構成成分を上記の範囲にした上でB2O3の量をこのような比較的多い量で用いることによって、本発明のグラスウールは、適切な粘度及び溶融温度を有することができ、断熱材の物性としての必要性及び製造上の必要性を満たすことができる。また、B2O3の含有量がこの範囲であれば、得られるグラスウールの吸湿性が低く、それによって断熱性が高いこと等の利点を有する。
本発明のグラスウールのガラス組成は、断熱材の物性としての必要性及び製造上の必要性を満たす範囲で、その他の構成成分を含有していてもよく、例えば、S2O3、Fe2O3、MnO、BaO、TiO2、SrO、PbO、Cr2O3、ZnO、Rb2O、Cs2O等を含有していてもよい。
本発明のグラスウールは、実施例に記載の方法で測定した場合に、7日目の平衡含水率が、1.0質量%以下、0.80質量%以下、0.60質量%以下、0.50質量%以下、0.40質量%以下、又は0.30質量%以下であってもよい。
本発明のグラスウールの平均繊維径としては、例えば1.0μm以上、2.0μm以上、又は3.0μm以上であってもよく、20μm以下、10μm以下、8μm以下、又は5μm以下であってもよい。この平均繊維径は、顕微鏡でグラスウールを200本以上観察することによって、例えば少量のグラスウールを2枚のスライドガラスではさみ、株式会社キーエンスのデジタルマイクロスコープVHX−200で200本以上を観察することによって測定することができる。
本発明のグラスウールの目付は、例えば1000g/m2以上、1200g/m2以上、1500g/m2以上、1800g/m2以上、又は2000g/m2以上であってもよく、4000g/m2以下、3500g/m2以下、3000g/m2以下、又は2500g/m2以下であってもよい。
本発明のグラスウールの密度は、例えば50kg/m3以上、80kg/m3以上、100kg/m3以上、又は150kg/m3以上であってもよく、350kg/m3以下、300kg/m3以下、250kg/m3以下、又は200kg/m3以下であってもよい。
本発明のグラスウールは、シート状の成形体、例えば特許第3712129号明細書に記載の方法によって得られるようなグラスウール成形体であってもよい。また、本発明のグラスウールがシート状の成形体である場合には、本発明のグラスウールは、単層であっても、2層又は3層以上に積層されていてもよい。
本発明のグラスウールは、例えばフェノール樹脂等の樹脂バインダを有していてもよく、また樹脂バインダを実質的に有していなくてもよい。例えば、特許第3712129号明細書に記載の方法によって得られるような、繊維の交点部分が水ガラスなどの無機バインダで接合された、3次元の骨組み構造体であってもよい。
本発明の真空断熱材は、上記のグラスウールと、グラスウールを封入する外皮を含む。外皮は、通常は、熱融着層、バリア層、及び保護層を含み、かつその端部において対向している熱融着層を互いに熱融着させて封止部を形成し、芯材としてのグラスウールを封入する。各層を、接着剤の層で共に接着させることができる。また、各層間及び/又は各層の内部に、吸着剤、吸湿剤等を含有させることもできる。
本発明のグラスウールの製造方法は、カレット及び添加剤を含むガラス原料を溶融してガラス溶融物を得ること;及びそのガラス溶融物を繊維化することを含む。

Al2O3:1.0質量%以上5.0質量%以下
Na2O:10.0質量%以上15.0質量%以下
K2O:0.5質量%以上3.0質量%以下
MgO:0.1質量%以上5.0質量%以下

B2O3:0.3質量%以下
その他:残部。
SiO2:69.0質量%以上72.0質量%以下、
Al2O3:1.5質量%以上3.5質量%以下、
Na2O:12.0質量%以上14.0質量%以下、
K2O:0.8質量%以上1.5質量%以下、
MgO:0.2質量%以上4.0質量%以下、
CaO:7.5質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
B2O3:0.2質量%以下。
その他:残部。
Claims (9)
- 以下のガラス組成を有する、グラスウール:
SiO2:60.0質量%以上65.0質量%以下、
Al2O3:0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
Na2O及びK2O:13.0質量%以上17.0質量%以下、
MgO及びCaO:8.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
B2O3:5.0質量%以上12.0質量%以下、
その他:残部。 - 以下のガラス組成を有する、請求項1に記載のグラスウール:
Na2O及びK2O:14.0質量%以上16.5質量%以下、
MgO及びCaO:9.0質量%以上11.5質量%以下、
B2O3:5.0質量%以上8.0質量%以下。 - 以下のガラス組成を有する、請求項1に記載のグラスウール:
SiO2:62.0質量%以上64.0質量%以下、
Al2O3:1.2質量%以上1.8質量%以下、
Na2O:14.0質量%以上16.0質量%以下、
K2O:0.5質量%以上2.0質量%以下、
MgO:2.0質量%以上4.0質量%以下、
CaO:6.0質量%以上8.0質量%以下、
B2O3:6.0質量%以上8.0質量%以下。 - 平均繊維径が、0.5μm以上20μm未満である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
- 樹脂バインダを含んでいない、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
- シート状の成形体である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のグラスウール。
