Claims (5)
- 陸上の伝送装置から送信された信号光を増幅するための複数のポンプレーザと、
陸上の局から印加される直流の給電電流を電源として、ポンプレーザに電流を供給するための電源回路と、
前記給電電流の低下に応じて、一部のポンプレーザに電流の供給を停止するポンプレーザ節電手段と、
を含むことを特徴とする光海底ケーブルシステムの光中継器。 - 複数の光増幅器をさらに含み、
各ポンプレーザは、いずれかの光増幅器に属し、
前記ポンプレーザ節電手段は、前記給電電流の低下に応じて、一部の光増幅器の全ポンプレーザに電流の供給を停止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光海底ケーブルシステムの光中継器。 - 前記電源回路は、ポンプレーザに電流を供給するための電圧を両端に発生させる抵抗をさらに含み、
各ポンプレーザは、前記抵抗の両端に接続され、
前記ポンプレーザ節電手段は、一部のポンプレーザを抵抗から切断することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光海底ケーブルシステムの光中継器。 - 前記ポンプレーザ節電手段は、さらに電源回路内のポンプレーザに電流を供給するための電圧を両端に発生させる抵抗の抵抗値を下げることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光海底ケーブルシステムの光中継器。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の光中継器を備えることを特徴とする光海底ケーブルシステム。
