Description
The present invention relates to a pressure ulcer pocket measuring instrument for measuring the size of a pressure ulcer pocket.
Pressure ulcers are a type of pressure necrosis, and are ulcers that develop in areas where weight is applied due to impaired skin circulation when a critically ill patient is bedridden for a long time. A pressure ulcer with a high degree of serious injury may have a pocket shape opened on the surface of the skin, and this pocket-shaped portion is called a pressure ulcer pocket.
In the treatment of patients with pressure ulcer pockets, it is necessary to periodically measure the size of the pressure ulcer pocket, such as once a week. In the past, a long heel was inserted from the opening of the pressure ulcer pocket to find the contour of the pressure ulcer pocket, that is, the deepest part of the pocket, and the contour was marked to measure the size of the pressure ulcer pocket.
However, when using a long insulator, there is a risk of delaying healing of the wound by mistakenly observing the wound when the depth is difficult to understand. In addition, since the long eggplant is not flexible, there are cases where measurement cannot be performed depending on the posture of the patient, and in addition to not being able to perform correct measurement, the wound may be contaminated.
From such a problem, there is also an invention of a measuring instrument that uses a flexible material to prevent damage to a pressure ulcer pocket (for example, Patent Document 1). However, even in such an invention, there is a problem that grasping the outline of the pressure ulcer pocket has to rely on intuition, and there is a problem that skill is required.
The present invention has been made in view of the background as described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a pressure ulcer pocket measuring instrument that can easily measure the size of a pressure ulcer pocket without damaging the wound. And
In order to solve the above-described problems, a pressure ulcer pocket measuring instrument according to the present invention includes a light emitting portion at a tip inserted into a pressure ulcer pocket, an insertion portion having a lead wire for supplying electricity or light to the light emitting portion, and the insertion And a supply part for supplying electricity or light to the conducting wire.
This conducting wire is, for example, an electric wire or an optical fiber.
According to such a pressure ulcer pocket measuring instrument, the outline of the pressure ulcer pocket can be visualized by inserting the insertion part into the pressure ulcer pocket while causing the light emitting part to emit light through the lead wire. Can be measured. That is, since the outline of the pressure ulcer pocket can be seen visually, it is possible to mark the outline without forcibly inserting a measuring instrument to the deepest part of the pressure ulcer pocket, and there is no risk of damaging the pressure ulcer pocket, The contour mark is accurate. Then, the outline of the pressure ulcer pocket can be visually observed to mark the periphery of the distal end of the insertion portion, so that the work can be quickly performed.
In the measuring instrument, the conductive wire is preferably covered with a flexible tube that does not damage the pressure ulcer. By adopting such a flexible tube, the insertion portion becomes flexible, so that the wound is not easily damaged, and even when a measuring instrument is applied to the deepest part of the pressure ulcer pocket, the wound is not easily damaged. Moreover, if the insertion part is flexible, it becomes easy to perform measurement regardless of the patient's posture.
In the measuring instrument, it is desirable that a scale is displayed on the tube. This makes it easier to measure the size of the pressure ulcer pocket.
In the measuring instrument, it is desirable to provide a fastener for applying a clamping force from the outside of the tube so that the lead wire and the tube do not deviate from each other. If it does in this way, while moving with respect to the tube of a conducting wire or a light emission part, it becomes easy to maintain a fixed shape with the whole tube and conducting wire, and it becomes easy to perform the operation | work which inserts an insertion part in a pressure ulcer pocket.
In the measuring instrument, the conducting wire is preferably an electric wire. When an electric wire is used, the light emitting portion can emit light sufficiently brightly even with a flexible thin line, and there is no risk of functional damage even when the insertion portion is folded, so it is convenient for handling and carrying.
In the measuring instrument, it is desirable to provide a disposable cover at the tip of the insertion portion. By doing in this way, the infection by the bacteria between patients can be prevented.
In the measuring instrument, it is desirable that the light emitting unit emits red light. Since the human skin easily passes red, if the light emitting part emits light in red, there is little change in brightness before and after insertion into the pressure ulcer pocket, and measurement is easy.
As described above, according to the pressure ulcer pocket measuring instrument of the present invention, the size of the pressure ulcer pocket can be easily measured without damaging the wound.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the pressure ulcer
発光部11は、赤色のLED(Light Emitting Diode)からなる。
The
As shown in FIG. 2A, a
As shown in FIG. 2B, the
As shown in FIG. 1, a
Next, the usage method of the pressure sore
As shown in FIG. 4A, a
As shown in FIG. 4B, the tip insertion portion A is inserted into the
Next, as illustrated in FIG. 4C, power is supplied to the

Based on the
According to the pressure ulcer

Furthermore, by using the
Thus, according to the present invention, since the size of the pressure ulcer pocket is accurately determined, it is possible to contribute to the determination of the appropriate direction of pressure ulcer treatment.
Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be implemented with appropriate modifications. For example, as the conducting wire, not only an electric wire but also an optical fiber can be used. In this case, it is only necessary to attach a component that diffuses light instead of the LED as the light emitting unit. Then, a light source such as an LED and a power source for supplying power to the LED are provided in the supply unit.
However, it is desirable to use an electric wire in consideration of the brightness of light emission, flexibility, handling of folding, and the like.
