Description

The present invention relates to an ultrasonic oral cleaning tool that performs cleaning using ultrasonic waves, and more particularly, to an ultrasonic oral cleaning tool that can be efficiently cleaned using a cleaning liquid as a vibration transmission medium.

Conventionally, in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 1995-509151, a piezoelectric transducer is attached to the head portion of a manual toothbrush, and a piezoelectric crystal that resonates at or near the resonance frequency emits ultrasonic waves between hairs. Thus, there has been proposed an ultrasonic toothbrush capable of binding soft energy in the user's mouth to the tooth surface via a dentifrice, removing soft plaque, and treating and preventing stomatitis. However, such a toothbrush has not been able to sufficiently remove plaque in the periodontal pocket where the hair bundle cannot reach.
On the other hand, in Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 206130 of the Japanese Patent Application Publication, an ultrasonic generator that forms a space in which the washing water easily collects in the head part of the toothbrush, supplies cleaning water to the water reservoir, and is mounted behind the space. There has been proposed an ultrasonic toothbrush that peels, emulsifies and removes plaque and dirt by the action of generated ultrasonic waves.
Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2001-8736 also discloses an ultrasonic toothbrush that removes plaque and the like by the action of ultrasonic waves, and has a drain outlet to prevent leakage from the mouth of cleaning water during cleaning. Some have been proposed.
In these ultrasonic toothbrushes, since ultrasonic waves act on the oral cavity using the supplied cleaning water as a vibration transmission medium, a large amount of cleaning water is generated so that an air layer that causes a decrease in transmission efficiency does not occur in the pool. Although the washing water supplied in such a large amount always overflows from the mouth, it is necessary to receive it in the wash basin during washing, which is inconvenient, and the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2001-8736. Even if the leakage from the mouth can be prevented as in the ultrasonic toothbrush described in the Gazette, the water supply tank that stores a certain amount or more of washing water needs to be configured separately from the toothbrush. The water supply pipe was connected to the handle of the toothbrush and used, and the design freedom was low.
Therefore, in view of the above-described situation, the present invention intends to solve the problem by efficiently cleaning the oral cavity by supplying a less cleaning liquid that can maintain transmission efficiency without causing an air layer in the water pool. It is possible to provide an ultrasonic oral cleaning tool that can be used, is easy to use, and has a high degree of design freedom.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic view showing the internal configuration of the ultrasonic oral cleaning device according to the present invention, FIG. 1 to FIG. 4 are the first embodiment, FIG. 6 is the second embodiment, and FIG. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes an ultrasonic oral cleaning tool, 2 denotes a liquid reservoir, 3 denotes a brush part, 4 denotes an ultrasonic generator, and 5 denotes a supply unit.
In each of the following embodiments, an ultrasonic toothbrush provided with a brush part in which a bunch of hair is implanted in the head part at the tip is shown. Of course, it can also be applied.
The ultrasonic oral cleaning tool 1 of the present invention supplies a cleaning liquid into the oral cavity from a liquid reservoir 2 projecting from a head portion 11 at the tip, and uses ultrasonic cleaning as a vibration transmission medium for the cleaning liquid. The supply amount of the cleaning liquid is set to the inside of the reservoir 2 per second. By setting the volume to 1/10 to 6/5, due to the action of the surface tension of the cleaning liquid, the liquid reservoir 2 that is always filled with the cleaning liquid is placed in the periodontal pocket, tongue, etc. It can be washed efficiently by pressing.
First, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
The ultrasonic oral cleaning tool 1 includes a handle portion 10 that is gripped during use, a head portion 11 that is inserted into the oral cavity and functions as a cleaning portion, and continuously connects the head portion 11 to the head portion 11. The head portion 11 and the neck portion 12 which are integrally formed using a synthetic resin material are formed of a neck portion 12 for reaching the back of the oral cavity, and the handle portion 10 is also formed of the synthetic resin material. It is attached to. Various forms conventionally provided, such as those in which the head portion 11 is detachably provided on the neck portion 12 and those in which the entire head portion 11 is integrally formed of a synthetic resin material, can be appropriately employed.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the head portion 11 is provided with a liquid reservoir portion 2 having an internal space layer 21 having an open front end side. The liquid reservoir 2 is a cylindrical elastic member that is preferably formed from silicone rubber, thermoplastic elastomer, or the like, and the tip opening surface 20 that is in direct contact with the oral cavity is formed in a gently convex surface. Thus, it is a preferred embodiment to have a shape that can be in close contact with the periodontal pocket.
Similarly, around the liquid reservoir portion 2 in the head portion 11, a brush portion 3 is provided in which a plurality of hair bundles 30 in which a plurality of filaments are densely arranged are erected. The bristles 30 of the brush portion can be the same as the conventional ones, and as shown in FIG. 4, it is possible to provide a plurality of bristles 30 along the radial direction. 30 is preferably set higher than the hair bundle having a height substantially the same as that of the liquid reservoir 2 adjacent to the liquid reservoir 2 described later.
The liquid reservoir 2 has an opening area of 3.0 to 100 mm 2 , preferably 3.0 to 30 mm 2 , a thickness of 0.1 to 3.0 mm, and a bottom surface fixed to the upper surface of the head 11. Thus, the internal volume consisting of the internal space layer 21 is set to 0.01 to 1.0 mL. If the thickness is less than 0.1 mm, the strength may not be maintained when pressed against a periodontal pocket or the like, and the opening may be crushed, making it impossible to perform efficient cleaning. There is a risk that it will become unusable, for example, it will become large and will not reach a narrow part.
The depth of the liquid reservoir 2 is the protrusion height of the liquid reservoir 2, but if the depth is too deep, the protrusion height becomes large, resulting in inconvenience in the cleaning operation in the oral cavity. Therefore, the tip opening surface 20 is lower than the tip height of the surrounding hair bundle 30, and it becomes difficult to bring the tip opening surface 20 into contact with a periodontal pocket or the like. On the other hand, if the inner diameter is too large, it becomes difficult to hold the cleaning liquid due to surface tension. As for the internal volume of the liquid reservoir 2, if the volume is too large, it is difficult to hold the cleaning liquid due to surface tension, and if it is too small, the cleaning area is small and the cleaning efficiency is lowered, more preferably 0.01. Set to ~ 0.5 mL.
Another example of the liquid reservoir 2 may be a honeycomb-shaped elastic member having a plurality of through-holes along the vertical direction. In this case, a plurality of columnar internal space layers are formed. It becomes. It is also possible to configure the liquid reservoir portion from a sponge-like elastic member having a plurality of communication space layers inside.
Since many small openings gather at the tip opening surface, these can further improve the retention of the cleaning liquid due to the surface tension described above, and the total internal volume consisting of a plurality of internal space layers is as described above. Similar to the internal volume of the liquid reservoir 2, it is set to 0.01 to 1.0 mL, more preferably 0.01 to 0.5 mL.
A piezoelectric element 40 is embedded as an ultrasonic wave generating unit 4 in the head unit 11 below the liquid reservoir 2 and an ultrasonic oscillation for supplying a high frequency to the piezoelectric element 40 is provided in the handle unit 10. A circuit 41 and a storage battery 42 for supplying power to the circuit are incorporated, and the ultrasonic vibration generated by the piezoelectric element 40 is filled in the liquid reservoir 2 and enters the oral cavity from the tip of the liquid reservoir 2. The supplied cleaning liquid is transmitted to a periodontal pocket or the like in the oral cavity using the medium as a medium, and the site is cleaned.
Further, as the supply means 5 for supplying the cleaning liquid to the liquid reservoir 2, a liquid storage tank 50 filled with the cleaning liquid is provided in the handle portion 10. A liquid feed path 52 that communicates with the internal space layer 21 of the liquid reservoir 2 via the neck 12 is formed. As shown in FIG. 3, a liquid supply hole 52a serving as an end of the liquid supply path 52 is opened on the upper surface of the head part 11 which is the bottom surface inside the liquid reservoir 2, and the liquid supply hole 52a has a liquid supply hole 52a. A check valve 6 is provided to prevent the liquid from flowing backward due to the weight of the cleaning liquid gradually filled in the liquid reservoir 2, and the check valve can also supply the cleaning liquid more slowly. It is said that. The cleaning liquid is supplied to the internal space layer 21 through the liquid supply path 52, and ultrasonic vibration is transmitted through the cleaning liquid that gradually overflows from the opening surface 20.
In this example, the cleaning liquid is supplied from the back surface of the liquid reservoir 2 through the liquid supply hole 52a opened on the upper surface of the head. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, as shown in FIG. A concave portion 7 for fitting the liquid reservoir portion 2 is provided on the upper surface, and a cleaning liquid is supplied to the internal space layer through a lateral hole 23 formed in the side wall of the liquid reservoir portion 2 from a liquid supply hole 52a opened in the inner wall 70 of the concave portion. This is also a preferred embodiment.
A liquid feed pump 51 for feeding the liquid for cleaning the liquid storage tank 50 toward the liquid feed hole 52a is provided at the beginning or in the middle of the liquid feed path 52. Reference numeral 53 denotes a drive motor, which rotates the weight 80 to vibrate the hair bundle 30. Conventionally known methods can be appropriately used as the supply means 5, and in this example, the liquid feeding pump 51 sucks the cleaning liquid from the liquid storage tank 50. It is also possible to employ one that is sent out from the liquid storage tank, one that is sent out after the internal volume of the liquid storage tank is reduced by a roller or the like, and one that is sent out by putting compressed air into the liquid storage tank. In addition, it is also an effective means to add a valve for adjusting the flow rate to the liquid supply path 52 in order to accurately deliver the flow rate.
The supply amount of the cleaning liquid by the liquid feed pump 51 is set to an optimum amount that is efficient and according to the internal volume of the liquid reservoir 2. Specifically, the supply amount per second is the amount of the liquid reservoir 2. The internal volume is set to 1/10 to 6/5, and specifically, 1 to 1200 μL / sec is supplied. If the supply rate per second is more than 6/5 of the internal volume, water will overflow in the mouth, making it inefficient and unusable, and a liquid storage volume of about 5-15 mL that can be built in the handle. If it is difficult to perform cleaning once in the tank, and conversely, if it is less than 1/10, a space is created in the interior, the transmission of ultrasonic vibrations is reduced, and the cleaning efficiency by the ultrasonic waves is reduced.
Here, since the ultrasonic cleaning cannot be performed from the start of cleaning until the liquid reservoir 2 is filled with the cleaning liquid, the pump operation is accelerated and the supply amount is increased for a few seconds required for the filling. It is preferable to perform drive control, and it is desirable to provide such a supply amount changeover switch or to automatically control increase and decrease of the supply amount.
Instead of providing the liquid storage tank 50, or the liquid storage tank 50, the liquid supply pump 51, and the drive motor 53 inside the ultrasonic oral cleaning tool 1, the liquid storage tank 50 is configured as a separate external device. A separate liquid supply pipe may be connected to the liquid supply path 52 of the handle portion 10 and supplied from the liquid supply tank.
As the cleaning liquid supplied to the liquid reservoir 2, a dedicated medicine is used, and in this example, a cartridge filled with the medicine is replaceably mounted as the liquid storage tank 50. The cleaning liquid may be composed only of water such as distilled water or tap water.
Also, a preferred embodiment is one in which the brush portion 3 on which the hair bundle is erected is provided on a flocking table that is configured separately from the head portion main body and a mechanism for rotating the flocking table is provided.
Next, FIG. 6 shows a second embodiment of the ultrasonic oral cleaning tool 1 of the present invention, and a liquid reservoir portion 2 made of the elastic member is provided adjacent to the brush portion 3 in the head portion 11. Is. In the illustrated state, the brush portion 3 is located on the distal end side of the tooth bundle. However, when performing cleaning by ultrasonic vibration, the distal end side and the proximal end side of the head portion 11 are directed oppositely to the neck portion 12. Or is rotated 180 degrees, and the liquid reservoir 2 located on the proximal end side in the figure is changed to the distal end side for cleaning.
When the liquid supply path (not shown) inside the head unit 11 extends from the liquid supply hole at the bottom of the liquid reservoir 2 and opens at the front end surface of the head unit 11, the liquid reservoir 2 is set on the front end side of the head unit 11. In addition, the opening is configured to be connected to the liquid feeding path of the neck 12, and connection terminals are provided on the head 11 and the neck 12, and the liquid reservoir 2 is set on the distal end side. In this case, a current path to the piezoelectric element is connected via the terminal.
In the case where the liquid reservoir 2 and the brush portion 3 are provided in this manner, the brush portion 3 and the liquid reservoir 2 can be set at the optimum head tip position in accordance with each of brush cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning. It becomes possible to perform oral cleaning more efficiently.
FIG. 7 shows a third embodiment of the ultrasonic oral cleaning tool 1 according to the present invention, in which a plurality of hair bundles 30 are closely arranged in a ring shape in the brush portion 3, and the plurality of hair bundles 30,. The liquid reservoir 2A is constituted by the inner wall 22 constituted by. The hair bundles 30 constituting at least the inner wall 22 have a strong lateral elastic force and are closely planted with each other, so that an internal space layer 21A can be filled without leaking cleaning liquid without using an additional elastic member. The cost increase is suppressed.
FIG. 8 shows a fourth embodiment of the ultrasonic oral cleaning tool 1 according to the present invention, in which the brush portion 3 is configured to be capable of reciprocating in the front-rear direction with respect to the liquid reservoir portion 2. Specifically, each of the head parts 11 is divided into upper and lower parts, a hair bundle 30 is implanted in the upper divided head part 13 to form the brush part 3, and the divided head is arranged in the lower divided head part 14. A water reservoir 2 that protrudes upward through the portion 13 and an ultrasonic generator (not shown) are provided. These upper and lower divided head portions 13 and 14 are integrally formed on the distal end sides of divided neck portions 15 and 16 that are similarly divided into upper and lower portions, and the inside of the divided neck portion 16 is the same as in the first embodiment. , A liquid supply path extending from the liquid supply pump 51 of the handle portion 10 and communicating with the internal space layer of the liquid reservoir portion 2, wiring for supplying electric power to the piezoelectric element provided in the divided head portion 14, etc. The divided neck portion 15 is connected to an output shaft of a gear box 54 that converts the rotational motion of the drive motor 53 of the handle portion 10 into a reciprocating motion in the front-rear direction, and the divided head portion 14 and the divided neck portion together with the divided head portion 13. 16 oscillates back and forth in the front-rear direction. In this example, the liquid storage tank 50 mounted inside the handle portion 10 is formed of a tube container, thereby preventing air from being mixed into the liquid sucked by the pump 51. Such a tube container has, for example, two sheet members facing each other and a nozzle member sandwiched between the opposite one end central portions of the sheet material, and one end including a left and right edge and a central portion provided with the nozzle material. It is possible to use a soft tube in which a bag body having the other end opened is formed by thermally welding and sealing the edge, and then the cleaning liquid is filled from the opening and the other edge is thermally welded.

According to the ultrasonic oral cleaning tool of the present invention, less cleaning liquid is supplied to the extent that the transfer efficiency can be maintained without generating an air layer in the liquid reservoir, and thereby, from the front end opening of the liquid reservoir. Overflowing cleaning fluid can be used as a vibration transmission medium to effectively remove plaque, etc. in the periodontal pocket, it is easy to use, a small storage tank capacity is sufficient, and it can be installed inside the toothbrush. .
In addition, since the head part is provided with a split head part having the liquid reservoir part and an ultrasonic wave generating part and a split head part having a brush part in which the hair bundle is implanted, the user It is also possible to replace the split head part separately according to the fatigue of the parts, and even if a structure in which the split head part with the brush part is moved relative to each other is adopted, it can be moved independently of each other. In addition, it is possible to avoid a situation in which the liquid reservoir is vibrated by the movement of the brush portion and becomes violated when the liquid is discharged, and the cleaning liquid can be supplied to the target site.
In addition, a liquid supply path for supplying the cleaning liquid to the liquid reservoir is provided inside, and a check valve is provided at the opening or in the middle of the end of the liquid supply path, so the liquid reservoir is gradually filled. The washing liquid is prevented from flowing back due to its own weight, and the washing liquid can be supplied more slowly.
