Description

Background Art It is widely practiced to produce a phosphorescent sheet by applying phosphorescent powder to a plastic film, and there are also patent applications such as JP-A-11-241052 and JP-A-2001-249615. To do.
However, the effect obtained in the example of Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-249615, which has good light storage durability, is that the luminance after 1 hour has elapsed from the fluorescent lamp irradiation is 15 to 17 mcd / m 2 . Since brightness of 5 mcd / m 2 or more is required to clearly confirm the surrounding objects, it is considered that in this example, only phosphorescence of about 1 to 2 hours can be obtained.
An object of the present invention is to provide a practical phosphorescent sheet having a luminous property several times or more compared to such a conventional phosphorescent sheet.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION In the present invention, in a phosphorescent sheet in which a paint containing phosphorescent powder is applied to one side of a plastic film selected from the group consisting of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester and polyamide, alkaline earth containing Eu as the main activator as the phosphorescent powder. The above-mentioned problems have been solved by using a phosphorescent phosphor made of a similar metal aluminate having a particle diameter of 20 to 100 μm.
By using a phosphorescent powder composed of an alkaline earth metal aluminate containing Eu as a main activator, a long-lasting phosphorescent effect can be obtained. In the present invention, the particle diameter is specified. By doing so, it was possible to obtain a surprisingly long-lasting phosphorescent effect. When the particle diameter is less than 20 μm or exceeds 100 μm, it is difficult to obtain a desired effect. The particle diameter of the phosphorescent powder is particularly preferably 40 to 80 μm.
As the resin component of the paint containing the phosphorescent powder, it is preferable to use a resin selected from the group consisting of polyurethane resin, acrylic resin and polyester resin.
In addition, it is preferable that the ratio of the phosphorescent powder and the resin component in the coating is about 10 to 80: 100, particularly about 20 to 60: 100 in terms of solid content weight ratio. The coating amount of the coating material onto the film, 100 to 300 g / m 2, it is preferred in particular 150 to 250 g / m 2 approximately.
Although the thickness of the plastic film used as the base material to which the paint containing the phosphorescent powder is applied is not particularly limited, it is preferably about 50 to 250 μm, particularly about 75 to 150 μm. Moreover, in order to improve the adhesiveness of a coating material, you may perform a corona treatment and an undercoating process on the film surface.
Furthermore, as the phosphorescent sheet, it is preferable to provide a concealing layer on the coating layer surface of the coating material containing phosphorescent powder provided on one side of the plastic film. In this case, the concealing layer is preferably formed by applying a paint in which titanium oxide is mixed with polyurethane resin, polyester resin, acrylic resin, or the like.
In addition, it becomes possible to provide as a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet by sticking a release sheet to the surface of the concealing layer via an adhesive layer.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may be formed by applying an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to a thickness of about 20 to 100 μm, preferably about 40 to 60 μm.
In the present invention, as shown in Examples, the luminance of JIS-Z9107 (safety sign board) after 10 minutes in phosphorescence luminance measurement is 100 mcd / m 2 or more, and the luminance after 60 minutes is 20 mcd / m. The product which has the luminous property which was very excellent in sustainability which is 2 or more can be obtained.
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Examples of the present invention will be described below, but the technical scope of the present invention is not limited thereby.
Example 1
Using a polyethylene terephthalate film having a thickness of 100 μm as a base material, a phosphorescent powder having a particle size of 60 μm (an alkaline earth metal aluminate containing Eu as a main activator), and using a coating composition having the following composition with an adhesion amount of 200 g / and m 2, and the coating was dried.
Polyurethane resin 100 parts Luminous powder (particle size 60 μm) 40 parts Cross-linking agent 3 parts Methyl ethyl ketone 30 parts Next, in order to enhance the concealability on the coating layer of the phosphorescent powder-containing paint obtained in this way, adhere with the following composition It apply | coated so that it might become the quantity of 100 g / m < 2 > (wet), it dried, and it was set as the luminous sheet | seat.
Polyurethane resin 100 parts Titanium oxide 30 parts Crosslinker 3 parts Methyl ethyl ketone 30 parts The phosphorescent sheet thus obtained was subjected to phosphorescent luminance measurement conditions of JIS-Z9107 (blocking external light in the dark for 3 hours, After stopping the irradiation at the illuminance for 20 minutes, the luminance after 10 minutes, 60 minutes and 300 minutes was measured. In addition, Minolta LS-100 was used for the luminance meter.
Comparative Example 1
A phosphorescent sheet was obtained in the same manner as in Example except that a polyethylene terephthalate film having a thickness of 75 μm was used as a base material and phosphorescent powder (particle size: 7 μm) was used. Also for this, the afterglow luminance with time was measured by the same method as in the example.
Example 2
A phosphorescent sheet was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the polyurethane resin containing the paint was changed to an acrylic resin. Also for this, the afterglow luminance with time was measured in the same manner as in Example 1.
Comparative Example 2
Only the phosphorescent layer was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 to obtain a phosphorescent sheet. Also for this, the afterglow luminance with time was measured in the same manner as in Example 1.
The test results obtained in the examples and comparative examples are shown in the following table.
Figure 2003082564
The degree of brightness and brightness is as follows, and is preferably 7 mcd / m 2 or more.
. Luminance (mcd / m 2 ) Sensation of brightness in the dark . 5 or more Very bright and the surrounding objects are clearly visible.
. 3 To the extent that the outline of an object can be confirmed.
. 2 It is faintly blurred and the presence of something can be confirmed.
. 1 or less Almost nothing can be confirmed.
As shown in the examples, the phosphorescent sheet of the present invention exhibits a surprisingly long-lasting phosphorescent property of 5 hours to 10 hours. The sheet can be used.
