技術分野
本発明はバスやその他の乗合自動車に主として用いられ、車内に設けられた座席が普段は健常者用の座席となり、一方、身障者が乗り降りする場合には、その乗降に適した座席としても機能することができる介護機能兼用自動車に関する。
背景技術
バスやマイクロバス、その他の乗合バス等の大型自動車においては、身障者等の人達のために容易に乗り降りができる機構が装備された車両が望まれている。また2人乗り、4人乗り、或いはそれ以上の人が乗れる比較的小型の自動車においても、身障者が自ら或いは人の手をあまり煩わさずに容易に乗り降りができるものが望まれている。
このような介護機能が設備された従来の自動車として、前記バス等の大型自動車においては、車両の後部或いは側部に設置された1基のリフトにより、身障者等を車椅子ごと1台ずつ乗降させるものが一般的であった。
また比較的小型の自動車にあっては、車高があまり高くないことから、身障者が車椅子から車内の座席に乗り移るのに容易な工夫がなされたものや、地面との段差を解消して車椅子ごと前進或いは後進して乗り入れるようにしたものが提供されている。
ところが、上記従来の身障者に適した介護用機能を備えた自動車は、例えば介護用リフトを備えた正に身障者専用車両である場合が多く、コスト面、運行面、熟練操作等において問題があった。
また従来の身障者に適した介護用機能を備えたバス等の比較的大型の自動車にあっては、専用車両でなくても、大抵は車椅子用乗降口を1つだけ備えたものや1つのリフト手段で車椅子を1台ずつ乗降させる機構になっており、複数の身障者等を乗降させるのに非常に時間がかかり、身障者本人及び介護者の双方にとって肉体的且つ精神的な負担が大きいという問題があった。
更に身障者等を車椅子ごと載せることから、車内に車椅子専用のスペースを必要とするため、車椅子が乗らない通常時には、その車椅子専用のスペースが一般乗客用座席の減少となる等の不都合があった。
そこで本発明は、上記従来の介護用機能を備えた自動車における欠点を解消し、身障者等の介護専用自動車ではなく、健常者と身障者が一緒に乗り合わせることができ、且つ身障者の乗降を容易に、速やかに行うことができ、しかも身障者専用の特別のスペースを車内に設ける必要がなく、十分な座席数をもって健常者と身障者が変わりなく着座することができる介護機能兼用自動車の提供を目的としている。
発明の開示
上記目的を達成するため、本発明の介護機能兼用自動車は、バス等の乗合自動車の側部ボディに一般乗降口とは別に介護用の開閉ドアを設け、車内に配置された介護用座席を、前記介護用開閉ドアを介して車内の定座席位置から車外の地面への接地位置まで直接的に移動させ、また車外の接地位置から介護用開閉ドアを介して車内の定座席位置まで直接的に移動させるようにすることで、身障者等がバス等に非常に容易に苦労することなく乗降することができるようにしたことをその基本的構成としている。
以上のような基本的な考え方に基づいて、本発明の介護機能兼用自動車は次の様な特徴を有する。
即ち、本発明の介護機能兼用自動車は、バスやその他の乗合自動車として主として用いられ、車内に座席が設けられた介護機能兼用自動車であって、自動車の側部ボディに、健常者が乗降するための一般乗降口とは別に、開閉自在な1乃至複数の介護用開閉ドアを設け、且つ車内の座席のうち前記介護用開閉ドアの内側に沿って設けられる座席を介護用座席とし、該介護用座席は、該介護用座席を前方に向いた定座席位置から前記介護用開閉ドア側に向いた位置まで少なくとも90度の角度を回転させることができるようにした座席回転手段と前記介護用座席を水平方向に進退させることができるようにした座席スライド手段と前記介護用座席を垂直方向に昇降させることができるようにした座席昇降手段とからなる座席移動手段によって、車内の定座席位置と介護用開閉ドアを介した車外の乗降位置との間を移動されるようにしたことを第1の特徴としている。
上記第1の特徴によれば、健常者は一般乗降用開閉ドアから乗降することができる。一方、身障者等が乗車する場合は、先ず自動車の側部ボディに設けた介護用開閉ドアを開く。そして前記介護用開閉ドアの内側に沿って設けられた介護用座席を座席回転手段を用いて前方に向いた定座席位置から介護用開閉ドア側に向いた位置まで回転させ、次にその介護用座席を座席スライド手段により開放された介護用開閉ドア空間を経て車外に出た位置まで進出させ、更にその介護用座席を座席昇降手段を用いて降下させることで、身障者等の車椅子と同じ高さの乗降位置まで下げることができる。この状態において、身障者等の乗った車椅子を前記介護用座席に寄せることで、身障者自ら或いは介護者の協力により容易に介護用座席に乗り移ることができる。身障者等が介護用座席に乗り移った後、介護用座席を座席昇降手段で上昇させ、座席スライド手段で車内まで後退させ、座席回転手段で前向きの定座席位置まで回転させ、介護用開閉ドアを閉めることで、前記身障者等は介護用座席と共に車内に収容され、介護用開閉ドアの内側に沿った定座席位置にそのまま座った状態となって安定し、それ以上の移動を全く必要としない。即ち、車外の乗降位置から直接的に最終座席位置である定座席位置に移動してそのまま乗客となる。
身障者等を自動車から降ろす場合は前記と逆の動作となり、身障者を介護用座席に座らせたままの状態で、介護用開閉ドアの開放、それに続く介護用座席の回転、車外へのスライド進出、降下に従って車外の地上付近の乗降位置まで移動し、必要に応じて介護者等が用意した車椅子に乗り移るようにすればよい。
身障者が座席に座っている間、車椅子は折り畳む等して自動車のトランクに保管することができる。
よって第1の特徴によれば、自動車の側部ボディに設けられた介護用開閉ドアとその内側に沿って設けられる回転、スライド移動、昇降移動可能な介護用座席によって、乗車する時には車両の側方、車外位置から車内の最終安定位置である定座席位置までをごく簡単に速やかに移動して、そのまま安定した着席状態になることができると共に、降りる時も自己の座席位置から直接的に側方の車外の乗降位置まで移動して降りることができる。従って身障者や介護者等に対する肉体的且つ精神的負担が非常に少なくなる。
しかも乗降口が健常者と身障者とでは全く別であり、且つ車内でも互いに交錯することが全く生じないので、健常者及び身障者共に乗降に際して互いに何ら支障をきたすこともない。
また前記介護用開閉ドアに取り付けられた座席は、着座する機構としては特別なものではないので、身障者が座っていない介護用座席は健常者も普通に座ることができる。よって座席の無駄がなくなる。
また車内に車椅子専用のスペースを必要とせず、一般車両と同じ数の座席を確保することができる。
次に本発明の介護機能兼用自動車は、上記第1の特徴に示す構成において、介護用座席は座席昇降手段の構成要素である昇降ロッドに対して固定され、前記昇降ロッドは座席スライド手段の構成要素であるスライド体に昇降自在に取り付けられ、前記スライド体は座席回転手段の構成要素である回転支柱に回転自在に取り付けられたスライド支持体にスライド自在に取り付けられ、回転支柱は車内の床部に立設されていることを第2の特徴としている。
上記第2の特徴によれば、介護用座席は、車内の床部に立設された回転支柱に対して回転自在に取り付けられたスライド支持体を回転させることでスライド支持体と一緒に前向き方向の定座席位置から90度横向いた介護用開閉ドア方向に向きを変えることができ、次にスライド支持体からスライド体を前方へ移動させることで車外位置まで進出し、次にスライド体に取り付けられた昇降ロッドを降下させることで車外の身障者等の乗降位置に到達する。また介護用座席は、車外の乗降位置から前記とは逆の動作を経て車内の定座席位置まで到達する。
よって第2の特徴によれば、上記第1の特徴による作用効果に加えて、介護用座席を移動させるため座席回転手段と座席スライド手段と座席昇降手段とを相互に組み合わせたことで1つのユニット状にすることができ、座席移動手段として全体がコンパクトで操作し易いものとすることができる。また車内の床部に立設される回転支柱を支持体として十分に強固なものとすることで、スライド支持体、スライド体、昇降ロッド及び介護用座席を回転等に対しても十分な強度を持って確実に支持させることが可能となる。
また本発明の介護機能兼用自動車は、上記第1又は第2の特徴に示す構成において、介護用座席は、ロック手段によって車内の定座席位置に配置された状態で車内床部に対してロックされる構成としたことを第3の特徴としている。
上記第3の特徴によれば、上記第1又は第2の特徴による作用効果に加えて、介護用座席は車内の定座席位置において床部に対してロックされることで、定座席位置で確実に床部に着座、固定させることができると共に、ロックを解除しないと座席を動かすことができないので、安全ロックとしての役割を果すことができる。
また本発明の介護機能兼用自動車は、上記第1〜3の何れかの特徴に示す構成に加えて、介護用開閉ドア及び介護用座席は歩道に近い窓側に沿って設けられていることを第4の特徴としている。
上記第4の特徴によれば、上記第1〜3の何れかの特徴による作用、効果に加えて、バスやマイクロバス等の比較的大型の乗合自動車の両側の窓のうち歩道に近い方の窓側に沿って、介護用開閉ドア及び介護用座席を設けることで、身障者等を歩道側から安全に乗車させ、且つ降ろすことができる。
発明を実施するための最良の形態
本発明の介護機能兼用自動車である乗合バス1は、その車内に座席11、12が設けられ、また一般乗降口13が設けられている。ここで一般乗降口13は車体の前部に設けているが、前部と後部等、複数個所に設けることもできる。客は前記乗降口から車内に入って、空いている席11、12に座り、目的の停留所等に到着すれば、一般乗降口13から降りる。この点に関しては通常の乗合バスと何ら変わるところはない。
乗合バス1の車内の座席11、12のうち、歩道に近い窓側(第1図において、バスの進行方向に向かって左側)に沿って配された座席12は、例えばシングル座席からなる介護用座席としている。この介護用座席12は介護用開閉ドア14とセットで設けられ、介護用開閉ドア14の内側に沿って介護用座席12が設けられている。
前記介護用座席12は、乗合バス1の前記歩道に近い窓側にある1列の全ての座席とするが、全ての座席ではなく、複数個に対して設けるようにしてもよい。また1個の座席に対してだけ設けることも可能であるが、複数個の座席に対して設けておく方が、余裕があって好ましいと言える。
介護用開閉ドア14にはその上半部に窓14aを構成してもよい。この窓14aは、介護用開閉ドア14が閉止された状態では乗合バス1そのものの窓となる。また介護用開閉ドア14下半部のボディは、介護用開閉ドア14が閉止された状態では乗合バス1の側部ボディそのものとなる。
介護用開閉ドア14は、例えば片持ちドアとし、乗合バス1の側部ボディと面一(略面一を含む)状態となる閉止状態と90度以上外方へ開いた開放状態との間で回動自在とされる。
介護用開閉ドア14の開閉は手動で行うが、勿論、駆動手段を用いて自動開閉するようにしてもよい。介護用開閉ドア14は、その閉止位置と開放位置においてロックされるようにする。ロック手段はドア14と乗合バス1のボディとの間に掛け渡される掛け金のようなものでもよいし、また開閉ドア14の開閉手段に回動動作のロックを行うロック手段を併せて構成するようにしてもよい。
前記介護用座席12は、第1〜3図を参照して、符号Aで示す車内の定座席位置から、符号Bで示す90度回転位置と、符号Cで示す車外進出位置とを経て、符号Dで示す地面近くまで降下した乗降位置との間で移動することができるように構成されている。
定座席位置Aにある介護用座席12は、前向きに配置され、着座空間としては健常者用の通常のシングルの座席と特に変わることはなく、身障者等がいない場合には、通常の健常者が座ることができる。また前記90度回転位置B、車外進出位置C、乗降位置Dにおいては、介護用座席12はバス1に対して背を向けた状態となる。このような車外での介護用座席12の向きは、身障者等が車椅子から介護用座席12に移ったり、また介護用座席12から車椅子に移ったりする際に、座席の前が広く、身障者や介護者にとっても作業がやり易いというメリットがある。また介護用座席12が車外にある状態では、その介護用座席12に座った身障者等は車外に広がる景色をみることになるので、乗降動作中において精神的に落ち着いた状態を維持することが可能となる。
第4〜5図も参照して、介護用座席12は乗合バス1の側部ボディに設けられる介護用開閉ドア14の内側に沿って設けられる。即ち、介護用開閉ドア14を開けることで、そのドア空間から容易に車外に移動することができる位置に設けられている。第4図と第5図は介護用座席12が車内において前方を向いた定座席位置Aにある場合を示しており、車内の床部15に開放自在にロックされるようにしている。ロック手段は、例えば脚部12aに設けられた差込金具16と床部15に設けられた受入金具17とによって構成し、差込金具16を着脱自在に受入金具17に差し込むことでロックされる。この開放自在のロック手段については、他の従来から用いられている機構を採用することができる。
介護用座席12は座席移動手段によって車内の定座席位置Aと車外の乗降位置Dとの間を、90度回転位置B及び車外進出位置Cを介して移動される。
第6図の(A)、(B)も参照して、第6図の(A)は介護用座席12(省略)が90度回転位置Bにある状態を示し、第6図の(B)は介護用座席12(省略)が車外進出位置Cにある状態を示す。
前記座席移動手段は、介護用座席12を前方に向いた定座席位置Aから介護用開閉ドア14に向いた90度回転位置Bまで、及びその逆の回転をさせることができる座席回転手段と、介護用座席12を前記90度回転位置Bから開放された介護用開閉ドア14空間を経て車外進出位置Cまで進出させ、またその逆に後退させることができる座席スライド手段と、介護用座席12を前記車外進出位置Cから乗降位置Dまで降下させ、またその逆に上昇させることができる座席昇降手段とからなる。
前記座席回転手段は、床部15に立設された回転支柱21と該回転支柱21に対して回転自在に取り付けられたスライド支持体22とからなる。スライド支持体22の回転支柱21に対する回転は手動によって行うようにしているが、モータ等を用いた自動回転を行うようにすることも可能である。
前記座席スライド手段は、前記スライド支持体22と該スライド支持体22に収容された後退位置から水平方向に進出自在とされたスライド体23とからなる。スライド体23のスライド動作は手動で行うが、これも電動モータや油圧手段を用いた自動動作とすることができる。22aはスライド支持体22の内壁面に設けたスライドレールで、上下の位置にそれぞれ一対設けられている。スライド体23は、このスライドレール22aにガイドされてスムーズに進退できるようにされている。前記スライド体23には図示しないコロを前記スライドレール22aに対応させることで、スムーズな動きにすることができる。またスライド体23が一気に進出したり、後退したりしてしまう不都合を除くために、前記スライドレール22aに加えてスライド支持体22の内壁面に一対のラックを固定して設け、スライド体23には前記ラックに対応するピニオンを設けるのが好ましい。
前記座席昇降手段は、前記スライド体23の内部に収容された一対の油圧シリンダ24、24と、該一対の油圧シリンダ24、24によって昇降される一対の昇降ロッド25、25と、該昇降ロッド25、25を同期して昇降させるために前記油圧シリンダ24、24に油を供給する図示しない油圧ポンプ及び運転スイッチである昇降スイッチからなる。
前記座席昇降手段は必ずしも上記油圧によるものに限定されない。スクリューネジを切ったネジ棒に座席12側の金具を螺合させ、モータ等により前記ネジ棒が回転することで、介護用座席12をネジ棒に沿って昇降させるような機構を昇降手段としてもよい。その他、空気圧等を用いた昇降手段であってもよい。
介護用座席12は、その脚部12aで、一対の連結具26によって前記一対の昇降ロッド25に連結されている。これによって昇降ロッド25の昇降に従って介護用座席12が昇降される。昇降ロッド25の降下停止位置は介護用座席12が乗降位置Dになるように、その位置を予めセットしておく。また昇降ロッド25の上昇停止位置は介護用座席12が車内床部15より多少浮き上がった状態で移動できるような位置を予めセットしておく。このような上限、下限の位置設定は移動範囲を限定するための従来周知の物理的機構、或いはリミットスイッチ等の制御動作上の手段によって構成することができる。
介護用座席12は、昇降ロッド25に連結された状態で、該昇降ロッド25が取り付けられたスライド体23の水平方向の進退に従って、車内の90度回転位置Bから車外進出位置Cのまでの間をスライド体23と共にスライドする。このスライド体23の最進出位置が前記車外進出位置Cとなり最後退位置が前記90度回転位置Bとなるように、予め移動範囲をセットしておく。このような移動範囲の限定も、上記と同様に従来より周知の物理的機構、或いはリミットスイッチ等の制御動作上の手段によって構成することができる。
前記昇降ロッド25の昇降は、介護用座席12が前記車外進出位置Cにある時にのみ昇降スイッチがオンできるようにして、座席移動の際の安全を図るようにすることができる。
介護用座席12は、それが連結された昇降ロッド25、スライド体23を介して、スライド支持体22の回転に従って、定座席位置Aと90度回転位置Bとの間を回転する。介護用座席12の回転範囲は、前記定座席位置Aと90度回転位置Bとの間だけで回転するように、予めその回転範囲をセットしておく。回転支柱21は回転軸ではあるが、同時にスライド支持体22、スライド体23、昇降ロッド25、介護用座席12を支える役割を果すものであることから、十分な強度をもつものを床部15に堅固に立設する必要がある。
介護用座席12が90度回転位置Bにあるときには、スライド支持体22が回転支柱21の周りを回転しないように、一旦回転防止用のロックがかかるようにすることができる。これによって介護用座席12は、その進退移動中において横方向に回動するといったことを防止することができる。
勿論、前記スライド体23はスライド支持体22が定座席位置Aから90度回転した90度回転位置Bにある時にのみ、スライド支持体22に対して進退できるように、90度回転位置Bにない時にはスライド体23が動けないようにロックが係る構成としてもよい。これによっても、介護用座席12がその進退移動中において横方向に回動するといったことを防止することができる。以上のようなロック機構は、従来より周知の方法により構成することができる。
今、上記した乗合バス1に身障者等が乗車する場合には、先ず車内に整列配置された介護用座席12の中から、介添人等は身障者等を着座させる介護用座席12を選び、定座席位置Aにある介護用座席12のロック手段である差込金具16と受入金具17との係合を外す。そして介護用開閉ドア14のロックを外して開放し、前記介護用座席12を手動にて回転支柱21の周りを90度回転位置Bまで回す。次に介護用座席12を前方に押して、該介護用座席12をスライド体23と一緒に車外進出位置Cまで進出させる。そしてその位置で図示しない昇降スイッチをオンして、昇降ロッド25を地上付近まで降下させ、介護用座席12を乗降位置Dまで下げる。これによって乗車準備が整う。身障者等は車外の乗降位置Dに待機中の介護用座席12付近に横付けされた車椅子から容易に移ることができる。待機中の介護用座席12への身障者等の移動が完了すると、介添人等は昇降スイッチを再びオンして、介護用座席12を乗降位置Dから上昇させ、更に介護用座席12をスライド体23と共に90度回転位置Bまで後退させる。そして座席12を90度前方へ回転させて定座席位置Aに復帰させる。そして座席12をロック手段でロックし、介護用開閉ドア14を閉めてロックすれば、作業が全て完了する。
身障者等は車外の乗降位置Dから最終の定座席位置Aまで最短距離で楽々と移動して、そのまま安定した着座状態となる。
