PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive and high-density formed body of good formability, useful for various formed bodies, by incorporating a specific fluidity-affording medium in ceramics secondary particles prepared by adding granulating binder to ceramics fine powder, followed by forming. CONSTITUTION:First, a granulating binder insoluble in the fluidity-affording medium to be used in the forming afterward (e.g. an organic cellulose acetate insoluble in water) is added to ceramics fine powder with an average size of 100-200Angstrom derived from hydrolysis of e.g. zirconium isopropoxide followed by mixing treatment in a second medium with affinity for said binder to form ceramics secondary particles with an average size of 1,000Angstrom -10mum. Thence, the secondary particles is incorporated with the fluidity-affording medium insoluble for said binder (e.g. water) to prepare the raw material for the forming. This raw material is then brought to forming by e.g. slip cast process, thus obtaining the objective ceramics formed body.
