Abstract
PURPOSE:To reproduce an original pattern based on a printing pattern after molding by measuring varying molding distortion due to the anisotrophy of a molding material and the molding conditions of top and bottom forces, and printing the original pattern on a board material as a distorted image obtained by correction for distortion of the original pattern in advance and molding the printed board material on the basis of a molding distortion distribution. CONSTITUTION:Sample sheets are obtained from a long molding material and measurement patterns of concentric circles and radial lines are provided on each sample sheet. These sample sheets with the measurement patterns are draw-molded. Then the distortion distribution of the measurement patterns on the samples after molding is measured and both circumferential and radial conversion equations are separately worked out which relate the position of pixels of the measurement patterns before molding to the position of the corresponding pixels after molding on the basis of the measurement value. After this, the position of pixels of the distorted pattern is determined through calculation using the above conversion equation applied to the position of pixels of the printing pattern to obtain distorted pattern data. The distorted pattern thus obtained based on the distorted pattern data is printed on a flat sheet material and molded, so that a desired pattern is precisely reproduced on a molding.
