Abstract
PURPOSE:To raise a screen plate in a stable to make open state under the plate, by a method wherein a locking device actuating with the tilt of guide shafts to fix a frame is installed to a mounting block. CONSTITUTION:If unsatisfactory printing, such as deviation and double, is detected during a screen printing operation, support pieces 11 are shifted to a position shown by a two-dot chain line by raising a lift rod 22, and guide shafts 14 are rotated clockwise about rotating members 12 by a predetermined amount to be held to an upward tilted position. With this rotation, adjusting pieces 26 of a locking device 23 are raised, and a trapping part 36 of a hook piece 35 is hanged to a fastening pin 39 of a mounting block 15. In this manner, a frame 16 is unmovably held to the guide shafts 14. In this states, the frame 16 and a screen 20 are held upwards to form a space between the screen 20 and a cylinder 1. By inserting a hand from the space, register members 4, 6 and a prepositioning member 3a are adjusted appropriately in position for conducting a proper printing.
