Abstract

PURPOSE:To make uniform the illuminance for the nearer and further parts on a paper-sampling plate by a single operation by a method wherein the paper-sampling plate and an illuminator-fitting frame are operated in linkage to each other and the tilt angle thereof is changed as they are kept in parallel to each other. CONSTITUTION:One end of the paper-sampling plate 11 of a color-inspecting stand for controlling the printed matter is linked to a frame 12 through the intermediary of a hinge 14, while the other end threreof is linked to a sample-displaying plate 10 through the intermediary of a hinge 13. To the upper part of the sample- displaying plate 10 is joined a connecting plate 19 and the upper end thereof is linked to one end of the illuminator-fitting frame 5 through the intermediary of a hinge 6. Moreover, the paper-sampling plate 11 is connected with a screw bar 16 through the intermediary of connecting rods 18 and 21, while the screw bar 16 is connected with a crank 15. Accordingly, by rotating the crank 15, the paper-sampling plate is turned and the sample-displaying plate 10 is elevated or lowered, whereby the tilt angle of the illuminator-fitting frame 5 can be changed. Thus, in spite of the inclination of the paper-sampling plate 11, the illuminance for the nearer and further parts on the upper surface of the plate 11 can be kept at the uniform level constantly.
