Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the jointing force applied between the right and left hulls by providing a clamp cylinder consisting of a pair of clamp arms and a hydraulic cylinder which are independently operated and engaging a clamped hardware from the both sides by a pair of clamp arms. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of connecting devices 15 are arranged between the top edges of the right and left hull bottom parts 1c and 2c which are attached and separated under keeping a ship bottom center line L as center line. The connecting device 15 is remote-operated. When a closing switch is turned-ON, the piston rods 24 and 25 on the right hull 2 side advance while a clamp cylinder 26 advances. Then the clamp arms 18 and 19 turn, and clamp hardware 17 fixed onto the left hull 1 side by the engaging parts 18b and 19b. Then, the clamp cylinder 26 intrudes between the clamp arms 18 and 19 and is locked. Therefore, the right and left hull parts 1 and 2 can be surely jointed by a strong force, and the watertightness can be secured.
