Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve water cutting effect by providing a neck section coupled to a wiper blade body, a lip section extending from the neck section and an edge section at the tip of the lip section, and forming an axial slit in the edge section. CONSTITUTION:A wiper blade 1 is provided with a head section 2 having a wiper blade body 3 at the lower section thereof. A lip 3 having approximately triangular cross-section is formed continuously below the wiper blade body 3 through a neck section 4, while an edge section 6 having approximately rectangular cross-section is provided to the lip section 5. A slit 7 for splitting the edge section 6 into two edge sections 6a, 6b is formed in tangential direction of the wiper blade 1. When the wiper blade 1 moves in one direction, glass surface is wiped at two points of the first edge section, while when the wiper blade 1 moves in the other direction, wiping is carried out at second edge section thus realizing a good water cutting effect.
