Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the rate at which the toe is varied in angle of inclination toward the outside of the toe when brake is applied and prevent the steering stability from getting worse by specifically determining relations between each of a radius of, a vehicle body member and a rear wheel supporting member and respective connected parts thereof. CONSTITUTION:Lateral links 3 and 4 are turnably secured at respective ends thereof to the front and rear points of the revolution center of a supporting member 2 of a rear wheel 1. On the other hand, the opposing end of each of the lateral links 3 and 4 which are parallel to each other is turnably connected to a vehicle body member. In such constitution, a trailing link 5 is connected at the rear end thereof to the supporting member 2 of the rear wheel 1 at the point forward apart by the specified distance from said connected point of the front lateral ink 3, and is also connected at the front end of said link 5 to a vehicle body member to extend forward in the inwardly oblique direction. Thus, the rate of variation in toe angle of inclination toward the outside of the toe of the rear wheel 1 may be reduced, whereby preventing the steering stability from getting worse.
