Abstract

PURPOSE: To make copied documents illegible and to prevent the illicit action by a copying machine by using a phototautomer sensitive to the radiations released from a lamp used in the conventional copying machines and combining at least one sensitizers. CONSTITUTION: When the phototautomer material is applied on paper, the contrast of an original changes only when copying is executed and the colors are changed by the irradiation from the illumination lamp of the copying machine. Consequently, the radiations returning from the medium changes only during the copying by the phototautomerism system and the contrast on the copy is made substantially zero. The photosensitiveness of the phototautomer is higher to the wavelengths longer than the ration wavelength from the copying machine and, therefore, the sensitizers sensitive to such wavelengths are used in combination and the energy absorbed by the sensitizers may be transmitted to the phototautomer to activate the same. The copying of the documents and works requiring secrecy without permission and the disadvantage to be incurred on the parties concerned are prevented.
