PURPOSE: To accurately adjust the contact pressure of a slope rolling compaction roller by providing a mechanism which reduces the contact pressure of the rolling compaction roller to a predetermined value when the contact pressure is greater on the upper side than on the lower side of a paved slope. CONSTITUTION: When the contact pressure of a rolling compaction roller 5 is greater on the upper side than on the lower side of a paved slope 1, a level detecting operation lever 16 having a bearing wheel is rotated to drive a motor M on an anchor vehicle 2 so as to rewind a winding drum. A rope 4 extended from the winding drum and connected to the upper side of the rolling roller 5 is loosened to reduce the contact pressure of the rolling roller 5 on the upper side of the paved slope 1 to a predetermined value. Thereby the contact pressures of the rolling roller 5 can be almost equalized and adjustments of the contact pressures can be made accurately.
