Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve purity of permeated water by carrying out a stage for obtg. primary permeated water during suspension of operation at night and carrying out a stage for obtg. secondary permeated water during operation in the day-time using a same reverse osmotic membrane device. CONSTITUTION:A stage for obtg. primary permeated water is only carried out utilizing suspending time of operation of a factory at night, and necessary amt. of the primary water for the operation during day-time is stored previously in a storage tank. The stored primary water is treated again during operation in the day-time with a reverse osmotic membrane device which has been used in an afore-mentioned stage, to obtain secondary permeated water. The secondary permeated water is used for the production of extremely pure water or directly for several kinds of process water. Thus, secondary permeated water having same water quality as obtd. by a two stage treating device is obtd. by a one-stage reverse osmotic membrane device, so the installation cost is reduced as compared to that for the two stage treating device.
