Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an accident such as sudden operation stop, heating and explosion in advance by basing on the temperature of a superconductor itself, whose temperature is detected, a supporting member or its environment and controlling the temperature to a temperature range, wherein an electric resistance zero characteristic and/or a Meissner phenomenon are generated. CONSTITUTION:An oxide superconductor 1 is attached to a rotary axis 4 in order to generate a permanent magnetic field by superconductive magnets 2 and 3 consisting of an oxide superconductive material. When the oxide superconductor 1 is in a superconductive state, repulsive force is generated between the oxide superconductor 1 and the superconductive magnets 2, 3 by Meissner effect so as to rotate the rotary axis 4. Duct lines 34 and 35 for a cooling agent are formed inside the magnets so as to insert cooling agent supply openings and temperature sensors 5 into these duct lines. In these cooling agent duct lines, magnet members, wherein recessed grooves are circularly formed, are pasted and joined so that the recessed grooves are facing each other. Thereby, the temperature can be held in a reversed peak (a temperature range wherein resistance is once reduced to zero) so as to be able to use a superconductive characteristic in a high temperature region owned by this oxide.
