Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate construction of an optimum multihorn-type RF sensor, by disposing frequency dividers in the preceding stage of a comparator in a feeding element using different frequency bands. CONSTITUTION:Output ends of four feeding horns 11 A, B, C and D are connected to input ends of corresponding frequency dividers 12 respectively. An output end of each of these frequency dividers 12 is made to branch in two, and one output end is connected to a input end of a comparator 13, while the other output end is connected to an input end of a power synthesizer 14. In other words outputs from the four feeding horns 11 A, B, C and D are divided so that frequency bands the divided, by using the corresponding frequency dividers 12, respectively, and each divided output is given to the comparator 13 and the power synthesizer 14 in accordance with each frequency band. A SIGMAsum signal, a DELTAEL difference signal and a DELTAAZ difference signal are extracted from this comparator 13 and an angular error is detected from these signals by using a receiver. As for a communication signal, a SIGMA sum signal output of the comparator 13 and an output of the power synthesizer 14 are used therefor.
