Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the automatic attachment and detachment of a tie plate as well as to improve efficiency and to decrease exposure dose by providing tie plate gripping mechanisms and nut rotating mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:A control section C outputs a signal S2 to air cylinders and a signal S3 to washer clamping mechanisms 111 to grip the upper tie plate 2 by respective blocks and to retain washers. The control section sends a signal S5 to the air cylinder 206 to move a base 204 and to engage nut holders 201 with the nuts mounts to the assemblies. Said section sends a signal S6 to respective nut screwing mechanism control parts to rotate the nut holders and to remove the nuts from the assemblies. The signal S1 is sent to a motor 152 and a base plate 150 is moved to the right in order to remove the upper tie plates from the assemblies upon completion of the above-mentioned operations. The tie plate gripping mechanism 100, etc., are removed from the upper tie plate 2 by the reverse operations.
