Abstract
PURPOSE:To substantially reduce control force of a control lever by connecting the first movable sheave to be screwed to a moving member by a thread pitch smaller than the thread pitch, in which this moving member is screwed to the first rotary shaft, while connecting the second movable sheave to the control lever, in the case of a variable pulley mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In a variable pulley mechanism 24, connecting the first movable sheave 26 to be screwed to a moving member 16 by a thread pitch smaller than the thread pitch, in which the moving member 16 is screwed to an input shaft (the first rotary shaft) 2, by placing the second movable sheave 27, connected to a control lever, to come into contact with and separate from the movable sheave 26, the movable pulley mechanism 24 is placed in a speed change condition. While in speed change operation of the variable pulley mechanism 24, by a difference of the screw thread pitch between both the input shaft 2 and the movable sheave 26 for the moving member 16, the variable pulley mechanism is constituted being focused to a non-speed change condition by placing the movable sheave 26 to be brought into contact with and separated from the movable sheave 27. Consequently, in the time of speed change, a drive pulley 5 enables its effective radius to be adjusted only by placing the movable sheave 27 to be brought into contact with and separated from the movable sheave 26.
