Abstract

PURPOSE:To dissolve a turbo-lag through reduction of power consumption so as to exert no wrong effect on a battery by operating an electric motor for the specified time when a throttle opening is at the set value or more, a gear position is in the middle speed gear position or above, and supercharged pressure is low. CONSTITUTION:In the case of acceleration with a throttle 7 positioned at the set opening level ore more, an engine speed is detected from the rotary shaft of an engine 3 by means of a rotational sensor 34, and when the supercharging pressure is low by a turbo-charger 2 whose rotational speed is below its set level, an electric motor 11 is operated when the gear of a change gear 33 is set in a gear position at 3-speed or above. An electrically driven supercharging pump 5 is operated rapidly so as to supercharge the engine 3 through a check valve 6B and an inter-cooler 8. An operation of the electric motor 11 is set at the specified time by a timer.
