Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a printing operation in the case of printing by changing a portion of output data by a little at a time, by preliminarily assigning a label to a predetermined region in a predetermined image, and outputting a pattern in a region assigned a label corre sponding to a predetermined page number, at the time of outputting a predetermined-numbered page. CONSTITUTION:An image data D is preliminarily provided with a label assigned to a predeter mined region thereof, the label corresponding to a predetermined page number. An image counter 11 receives page number data from an MPU 10, and is incremented each time one page is printed. A discriminating means 30 compares the page number of the page being currently printed with the content (number) of the label, and when both of the numbers coin cide with each other, the means 30 instructs a printer 40 to print the image region correspond ing to the label. The discriminating means 30 gives an instruction for outputting a pattern in the region assigned the label corresponding to the predetermined page number, at the time of outputting a predetermined-numbered page. Since the label is preliminarily assigned to the predetermined region in the predetermined image and the pattern in the region assigned the label corresponding to the predetermined page number is outputted at the time of outputting the predetermined-numbered page, a printing operation in the case of printing under changing a portion of output data little by little at a time is facilitated.
