Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize bidirectional communication by the frequency hopping system in one and same frequency band with a simple constitution by selecting a local oscillation frequency higher than the reception frequency and applying frequency conversion to a low intermediate frequency in the reception system. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal received by an antenna 10 in the reception system is separated by an isolator 11 from a transmission signal and given to a frequency converter 15 via a receiver 4, frequency-converted by a local oscillation frequency fL2 higher than the reception signal and converted into fi+FM in the intermediate frequency the same as that of the transmission system. The converted IF signal is inversely spread by the same frequency hopping synthesizer output fN as that of the transmission system to obtain a demodulation signal fi and original information is demodulated by a demodulator 3. Thus, the bidirectional communication by the frequency hopping system is realized in the same frequency band with the simple constitution.
