Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain high sensitivity by forming a main vibration element and a reinforced vibration element as the vibration element and incorporating both ends of the main vibration element and the reinforced vibration element in the lengthwise direction side by side by a support so as to eliminate destruction during manufacture and various disadvantages due to the decreased bonding strength. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric vibrator consists of a couple of main vibration elements 10, a reinforced vibration element 11 arranged to the outside of each vibrator at a prescribed interval respectively and a support provided side by side incorporatedly to both ends in the lengthwise direction of the elements 10, 11. Since the main vibrator 10 is reinforced by the reinforced vibrating element 11 by adhering the support 14 while leaving the reinforced vibration element 11, destruction due to the weight of the support 14 or an external force, etc., is prevented. Since the provision of the reinforced vibration element 11 ensures a large area for the support 14, the adhered strength of the support 14 is increased remarkably and the production of position deviation in the adhered part is prevented.
